The irony is that winning the Cotton Bowl is a big deal to A&M

3rd place was too

Keep shooting for the stars!

We won the bowl we were placed in... you didnt.

3rd place in the west far exceeded any expectations any of you tards gave us credit for before the season started. And final rankings put us what 6 or 7 stops ahead of LSU, just because you didnt feel like playing Clemson though. Thats the only reason right?

I can't believe they r ranked that high after losing 10 starters in defense

If people want to say we "lost 10 starters", then I can just as easily say we return 7 starters. Smith, Swann, Dawson, Herrera, Jenkins, Wilson, and Norman have all started games for us before.

And we have one of the most dynamic offenses in the country. So that's why we're ranked so high.

UG has a very inexperienced defense. If Tajh Boyd and Sammy Watkins can exploit this they can win in a shootout.

Thornton, Smith, Swann, Dawson, Jenkins, Herrera, and Wilson have all seen plenty of game action in their careers. We aren't nearly as inexperienced as a whole as people want to believe.

Now, safety is undoubtedly a major concern. But our LBs should be excellent and the DL should be improved over last year.

Anyone who says "clemson will win because they can exploit UGA's defense" simply has their head in the sand if they don't realize that UGA's offense (which is better) is just as capable of doing the same to clemson.

Clemson will get the win. I think they jump out early like 14-0 or even 21-0. That defense was young last season, and got better as the year went on. Venables will have them ready to play.

This is a Clemson defense that ranked behind Georgia Tech's and gave up a shite ton to FSU. Not our problem your offense sucked last year

Im not sure who is saying that

Pretty sure he used the term shoot out which would imply both teams are exploiting the others defenses

And based on all the score predictions I see, most expect a shootout

We didn't lose as many as them and are ranked a lot lower, i think we are ranked correctly but offense has to prove themselves....I just think Georgia should be ranked out of top 10 considering the amount of defensive turn over...,but their offense will b great

Wow, had to look it up and you're right - tech's gawd awful defense ranked 43 and Clem's came in 20 spots behind them in total defense. WOW!

We didn't drop off much if any on defene. Hell we probably got better with the rush defense. Your offense needs a pulse to be ranked in the top 10

You aren't allowed to be optimistic about your defense with all those new players

We can't be optimistic about our offense with tons of returning players and a new OC, those are the rules...live with them

You will both score on each other, just hope you score more

I pretty much was decided upon picking the home team in this match up and that is Clemson

UGA is probably a better team though, wouldn't be surprised either way
