Humor does not compute with Saban. Destroy does though.

He gone. Bama fans will be crying tears in the next year or so. And the rest of the SEC will be laughing saying, we told you so.
He'll be gone eventually, so you rantards that repeat this garbage year after year are eventually going to be right.
I'll make some predictions, as well.
1. TigerBait2008 will die in the next year. Or in the next year or so. Or so.
2. The sun will explode in the next several years or so.
3. Les Miles will leave LSU in the next couple of years or so.
I TOLD YOU SO.

Didn't go through all the posts, but this seems like typical ESPN tease junk. They throw opinions out cavalierly, people start watching and discussing, ratings go up. etc. I wonder if Jimmy Sexton picked up his style from ESPN or vice versa.
Doesn't seem like Saban is going anywhere. In my opinion winning 5 to 6 NC's is a bigger accomplishment than a Super Bowl anyway.

You're seriously citing Skip Bayless as the lynchpin of whatever it is you're trying to do here?

How many years have you guys been waiting to finally say this for real? Tell you what. Copy and then paste next year and the year after that and the year after that and so on and so on....
My brother lives in the New Orleans area and his LSU co-workers were constantly commenting to him throughout the 2007 and 2008 seasons how the Sabans hated Tuscaloosa and wanted out and were looking for a way back to Baton Rouge. He said they were dead serious too and would make these comments even when the conversation had nothing to do with Saban. He would smile and nod his head and just agree with them. They've literally been saying he was leaving after every single year he has been in Tuscaloosa. Their obsession is so comical it's almost absurd.
My brother also had a business client offer to get him Sugar Bowl tickets for the 2009 season with the assumption being that Alabama was going to lose to LSU and LSU would be in the BCS title game.

WTF? Are the catholics financing some rumormill to distract our FLAGSHIP (yea, obvious knock to S.C. rantards) from steamrolling to their next NC?

Saban may not enjoy winning the average game any more. But you know he hates losing, which he would do more of in the NFL.
It's pick your poison. Get your rocks off by winning championships every other year or live miserably getting mad at some spoiled 20 something taking plays off.

I wouldn't be happy either if I had to live in Alabama.

Oh, look! A brilliant and original statement that hasn't even been made already in this very thread! Tennessee is obviously chock-a-block with internet posting geniuses!

It certainly appears to be a full court press to get the Alabama players to doubt the coaching staffs future.
If the players really start to doubt the coaching staffs future.......IMO if I was a Bama fan that would be cause for concern because there is one school that cannot upgrade at head coach and that school is Alabama period. If Saban leaves you hire a worse coach no ifs, ands, or buts about it.
Now all this bullshite that talking heads say....shite I would let that go in one ear and out the other, but if players start to talk about Saban leaving that would be a cause for concern for sure.

I've seen more joy and happiness in Saban's face over the past two years than at anytime since I've been following him in 2000.
I've pretty much thought for some time now that he would coach at Alabama for another 5-6 more years and then retire.
But....... I never thought Spurrier would ever leave his alma mater and I never thought Pete Carroll would leave USC after failing twice, as a head coach, in the NFL before.
It's been awfully quiet on the Saban to NFL front since he's been at Bama until now. So, who knows, there could be some interest on his part in going back.
Saban is an incredibly driven man. Very, very few on a message board, like this, can relate to how driven that man really is. I don't think any of us can climb into his head and know what his next step is going to be.
My money is on him staying at Bama, but it would not surprise me a bit if he decided he wanted one last crack at the NFL before calling it quits.

I also love the e-Freuds citing his "huge ego" as the reason he is going back to the NFL. "It's eating him alive that he failed with the Dolphi ,"
That isn't ego they're describing. It's insecurity. The two ideas, applied to the same concept, are mutually exclusive.
The SECr: oh it is to laugh.
