How would they even know that? Gimme a break. I respect Saban and don't like him. I can admit. But there is no way in hell anybody knows what Saban's wife thinks. They are just irresponsible with their reporting.
Apparently she went on some radio station and said this yesterday. So it is what she thinks.

It certainly appears to be a full court press to get the Alabama players to doubt the coaching staffs future. Seems to be the only legit way that Notre Dame has a chance.
I think its all just propaganda.

Well Skip will be elated next year when Saban takes the Dallas job and whips his boy Romo into shape.
Yea, what's funny is Dallas is only an average NFL team and nobody wants to admit it and Romo is actually a very good QB. Romo can't really play much better, but you'll never convince those guys at ESPN admit that.

Why doesn't ESPN just call him up and ask him if he's happy? I guess it's easier to just make shite up.

Another LSU fan starting a thread about Saban leaving, unhappy, etc.

I think it is tied to the article from a few days ago when she said that once you win big, the fun diminishes and it is just relief after a W.

It is amazing how those few words are the ones everyone has focused on. Terry Saban also said in the interview that they have made a home in Tuscaloosa and it will be their last stop.
But no shite it is tougher when you've won at a high level. I'm often times more relieved than excited after a win and I'm only a fan. At least Mrs. Saban is candid in her responses.

They had Mrs. Saban's interview on ESPN college last night (10:00 I think). It was a phone interview and it she did say he was not having much fun... (basically that it was getting boring)...
I did hear Saban say "I will not be the next coach of XXXXXX"

This is going to happen every year from here on out that Saban is at Bama. A lot of NFL teams will come calling with open check books. Not to mention that the man is obsessed with perfection. Somewhere deep inside him there's an even littler guy more pissed that he failed in the NFL. Gonna be fun to follow.

Again, you've missed entire parts of the interview.
The focus is on this:
Everyone wants to overlook this:

The focus is on this:
quote:
“A victory doesn’t feel quite as happy, as joyous,” she said. “It’s just relief and let’s get ready for the next game. And that’s unfortunate. … The expectations are at the point now that everyone expects you to win and expects you to win it all.”
Everyone wants to overlook this:
quote:
“To answer your question and get right to the point, no,” she said. “We’re very comfortable here. We love it here. It’s a great fit for our family. It’s a good fit for me. As far as we’re concerned, this is where we’ll retire someday.
“As far as jobs go, this is it for us. I don’t mean to be presumptuous. I would have to talk this over with Nick, but as far as I’m concerned, this is it.”

I read the op as follows:
"ESPN First Take says Saban isn't happy
Then blah, blah, bullshite, made up crap, whining, running mouth, stirring up shite. "

It is funny they base this off her interview, yet leave off the part where she comes out and says no to the NFL.
