Yep. Season tickets sucked this year.

I don't know why the Florida game is such a big deal. Auburn used to love playing those guys every year. They never bitched about it. I will say this for Auburn fans, they may be barners, but they don't shy away from competition. They embrace it. I can't say the same for LSU fans. They are obsessed and hung up over one game on Alabama's schedule and fail to realize that, just 10 years ago, Tennessee was a consistent presence in the Top 10. With the right coach, they will return to that place in time.

I have talked to a lot of other Bama fans that feel the same way and not the flame fest that is on this board.

They want to keep the UT game but they realize it can't be sustained with an 8 game SEC. I am all for tradition, but conference expansion is fricking all this up.

I'm just tired of the bridge schedules...set a rotation, add a conference game, add two more teams, something

the fuq?

almost every LSU fan I know whats to keep the Florida game. it's usually the best game of the year

the Florida loss didn't even hurt LSU this year, even if we beat them we still wouldn't have gone to the SECCG

the point is a permanent east rival is unsustainable and stupid at 14 teams, so if the game has to go it has to go

stop using a couple retards on here to base your opinions

Lol read my post earlier. Our cross divisional games lacked, so we played Oregon and WVU.

What's so hard to understand? Your conference schedule sucks, you play some BCS schools OOC.

Good lord. Your head coach and AD did everything possible to get out of playing Florida. Talk about owning something. Own up to the fact that y'all want UF off of your schedule.

I realize that. And we'll be going back to a normal rotation soon enough. I just don't really see the point in incessant whining about the bridge schedules. It is what it is. Accept it and move on.

Once again, the argument is more against having a permanent East rival period, not who that east rival is.

Playing at the East schools once every 13 years is awful and everyone knows it. If it wasn't for the permanent East game, we wouldn't have had two years of bridge schedules...that's what LSU was fighting against.

I guarantee you majority LSU fans want to keep Florida game every year (thats why I am hoping for 9 game SEC schedule in 2014)

Most Auburn fans seem to want to play Florida again every year. They don't bitch like most LSU fans around here.

Bama fans can't seem to accept that they got a break with the bridge schedules and just move on

If you mention it, everyone gets all defensive and starts saying "nu uh! our schedule is still hard! you are whining! UT will be good again! You are scared of UF! [insert argument about some other schedule from last few years that is irrelevant to bridge schedule discussion]!"

Bama got a break with the bridge schedules. LSU got basically the hardest draw possible with the bridge schedule. Agree or disagree? Bama fans are the ones spinning this around and around

Of course we got a break with the bridge schedules. And honestly, it sucks. I'd much rather play UGA than Kentucky next year but constantly bitching and whining about it isn't going to change it.

Then stop flaming the frick out of threads when LSU fans bring it up, because it makes you seem like you are in denial. Why do Bama fans defend against it so much in threads?

The thread started because of a fact, due to "quirks" Bama and UGA haven't played since 2008. LSU has played UGA I think 3 times since then.

The only reason this thread got as far as it did is because of Bama fans flaming and egging it on, bringing up stupid shite.

The bridge schedules suck, and the main reason they exist is the permanent East rival game being played in an 8 game SEC schedule with 14 SEC teams. It's dumb, it's illogical and it's unbalanced. At least one rational Bama fan in this thread acknowledged it, too.

ETA: LSU fans are going to bring up the fact that you have an easy schedule over and over and over and over again...because you have an easy schedule

Are you fricking serious? An LSU fans starts a thread about scheduling injustice approximately every 30 minutes and you are seriuosly going to bitch about Bama fans flaming in said threads?

How bout this? I'll agree that Bama fans are defensive about the schedule if you admit that LSU fans have an unhealthy pre-occupation with Bama's schedule? As long as LSU fans keep bitching, there will be Bama fans defending.

Well, Bama plays UGA in 3 days (just like LSU played UGA in the SECCG but dodged them in the regular season last year)

ETA: Fair enough. Bama fans are going to keep calling LSU fans whiny bitches over and over and over again...because that's what some of you guys are acting like

But that's because LSU fans actually have a reason to bitch about something. All Alabama fans have to bitch about is LSU fans bitching, see how that works?

once again, last year and before don't matter in terms of this discussion because those were on a set rotation.

before the bridge schedule, UGA and Bama were going to play in regular season. the whole SEC and BCSCG picture would be completely different if that had happened

if Bama wins, its Bama vs UF in the SECCG. If UGA wins, its LSU vs. UGA in the SECCG (of course the season would be different and injuries etc so its not really what would have happened, but you get the point).

would have been a lot more exciting for the SEC if it had stayed the same (fricking TAMU and Missou )
