No. Only sport I played competitively after middle school was golf

Main thing I worry about Lacy is that he seems injury prone. I won't be surprised at all if Dee Hart either outrushes him or comes close to Lacy's rushing totals simply because he can't stay on the field.

Keep digging, tell me how many yards did Nebraska, Wisconsin and Ohio State QBs gain post scandal ?

How about Penn State being ranked 42nd in run D? Just admit you were wrong bro

Keep digging, how many yards, what was the ypc of the second Wisconsin tailback, although we give the kid from Madison the edge due to the scandal, dig that up for us. Compare his carries to Lacy's

So you think a guy who had turf toe last year is more injury prone than a guy who tore his ACL? Show me the logic.

A little more than Alabama's first tailback actually
You touted Penn State as having a top 10 defense. While they may have overall, the run D was nothing special and barely cracked the top 50.
You were obviously wrong but seem to be one of those people that just can't admit it.

Penn State run D was gash for 220 yards per game post scandal as opposed to 120 yards per game pre scandal.
The Eddie Lacy we played pre scandal was better than any LSU back

No I will not admit Penn State was soft against the run in so far how it relates to the Eddie Lacy debate

Yea, and that had nothing to do with their strength of schedule before and after. You dumb bro
ETA: Just to further prove my point, Lacy only had 6 yards up until 2:00 minutes left in the 3rd quarter. Trent wears them down, Lacy profits. Let's see if he can do that wearing down on his own

He's going to be good but I get the feeling most Bama fans will feel a little let down with him being the following act behind Ingram then Richardson

Was Sandusky still coaching the D pre-scandal?

You win, for the record I actually would perfer a quartet over the one egg basket.Provided Lacy does not get dinged I see no measurable drop off in so far as the number one tailback on the Bama depth chart, the wild card really will be who do they have to: A) spell Lacy or B) step in if he tweaks an ankle ?

Let's also not forget that Rivals had Lacy rated as a 4-star as well as the 13th best RB in the 2009 recruiting class. In comparison, Ingram was the 17th best RB coming out of high school in the '08 recruiting class. Lacy was also a higher rated 4-star than Ingram was. Lacy was a 5.9 4-star while Ingram was a 5.8. These numbers don't mean squat, but Lacy is far from a mediocre running back. The kid has talent.

The only issue I have with Lacy is that at times he tippy toes a bit. Of course when I say that I'm comparing him to Richardson, not most backs.
He'll put up good numbers, although the number 2 and 3 guys might get more carries this year than they did last year. 1,200-1,300 yards or so is easily within reach with our line.

Lacy is a fricking beast. Is anybody claiming different?
you gotta be fricking kidding me if you cant recognize the talent. size, speed, strength, agility, and vision, its all there folks. plus, he has one of the best spin moves you will ever see on a RB.

The predictions of 1500 yards for Lacy seem to defy Saban's pattern of getting the # 2 guy reps.

damn straight. thats a spot on analysis. 1500 yds isnt out of the realm of possibilities but its unlikely, based on what we've seen.
but 1500 yards is a bold and unlikely prediction for any RB. it happens, but its more than you can realistically expect.
