but if you think he is clear cut better than anything LSU has, like Trent obviously was, you need to actually start watching football

Ford is the only back that compares to Lacy.. Hilliard is good against weak defenses lol.. he hadn't shown well versus #1 defenses.

If LSU didn't want Lacy why are so many Lsu fans cryin about him ALL the time.. you guys talk about Lacy more than your own rbs.

LSU also opted for the more sought after back in Michael Ford.

Because he is at Bama

If he was at Texas or USC, we really would not give a good crap

That is the case with every feature back in waiting, although I think Lacy will suceed his ypc will drop for he too gashed alot of tired defenses late in the game.

Without looking, I would guess his gaudy numbers are the benefit of second half carries against North Texas, Kent State, Arkansas, other teams with shitty defenses, etc.

Ford had better numbers against common opponents, while playing behind a line that wasn't as good as Alabama's and with a passing game that couldn't keep defenses quite as modest.

Ford > Lacy

Lacy did run wild on Penn State the nation's number ten defense last season

Lacy actually got carries throughout most of our games. Sorry, you're wrong.

What would you consider more impressive:
11 rushes for 85 yards against Penn State
OR
11 rushes for 72 yards against Bama

OK, well how many running backs actually dominate against the #1 defense?

A running back is going to have trouble against a great defense, especially when the line isn't blocking.

All things being equal I would take Lacy, lost in
the drama surrounding the NCG little has been said of the awful LSU O-line play,I understand it is trendy to put all the blame on Jefferson but to the unbiased eye it looked as if the LSU line was in on a fix

Maybe you do not look at football nationwide but stopping the run was not the Penn State problem

Would you like to address this post rather than deflect

Penn State gave up 188 on the ground to Nebraska, 196 to Bama, 264 to Wisconsin. I could keep going, but you may actually get the point now.

Lacy got injured in the fourth game of the year and never fully recovered?

But he did have some impressive runs against LSU in the title game.

Keep going, Penn State was the number ten d last year of the three teams Alabama ran the ball the best on them, although Nebraska and Wisconsin are both great running teams they played PSU post scandal
