That's ~ $1.25mm per game (win) more than Mullen. Mullen is over paid. Paying Sumlin that much is insane.

You would think SEC fans of all people would know 2 players don't make a team. Last year's team was very experienced but incredibly thin and was lucky to not have injuries. Anyone who followed the program even at a surface level for more than two years knew what Sherman had left. There's a reason we took 35 kids last year. Some are already bright spots, but not ever kid is ready year one.
And yes I know I'm feeding trolls, but then again I'm certain some of you hillbillies believe what you're saying... I'm looking at you Arkansas.

Again I ask what makes it too much. USC was going to pay him even more. We paid what we needed to keep him. The market sets the price, not some spare coach in Starkville.

I agree. Texas A&M University is the greatest institution on the planet, he has a better product to sell than everyone else, yet Saban's class is ranked higher. The salesman matters just as much as the product.
