4th and 1 and if ya'll didn't make it LSU is in FG position to tie it up. It was the right decision to punt with a back up QB having to go the length of the field.

You guys played an inspired and good game today...it was just an emotional, story book ending for the LSU win.
I'm referring to the first punt. The second one was a must punt and he got what he wanted, but didn't apply any pressure so in other words he went Chavis

Put down the fricking beer. This was the first game Bert looked like a decent SEC coach all year.

This game was winnable but failed away from an unconfident Big 12 coach in over his head.

Bielema made the right call.

I hope for his sake he's on the road recruiting a CB tomorrow, though.

Totally on board with Coach B.

Our Freshmen kept us in this game not Petrino recruits. It's now time to go recruit under Coach B.

When you're winless in SEC play, last game of the year you take some risks. Arkansas conservative play gave LSU the opportunity to get back in the lead.

We get stuffed on that play and he is called a dumbass that didn't force the backup QB to go the length of the field to win. The Rant will always find something to bitch about.

Bobby Petrino had the balls to put give the death blow when necessary.

Petrino had QBs that could complete throws of more than 10 yards.

Allen might be one of the worst at throwing the deep ball that I have seen.

The CB got burned but the safety shold've been there.

it was a good call either way. with the backup in and time running out, I thought it was the right call.
If met wasn't hurt, I woulda thought harder about going for it. But if you didn't make it, lsu had a money fg kicker in easy range already.

lsu had made lots of stops for losses, even though ark had piled up some rushing yardage , so it wasn't a sure thing.

you'd have been pissed as hell to hand the game over on a silver platter.

Exactly. It's not like we were pushing LSU all over the place with our run game. It was in no way a sure thing.

With it all on the line late in the 4th we went 3 and out twice and then Brandon Allen dyslexiced his way to UCA.

True, and Allen falls apart when put under pressure.

You were up six you punted and gave up three anyways. You could have at least ran a qb sneak or maybe just try and draw them off sides. He put the kids in a bad position but you wanna blame a kid for biting on a underneath route when he probably should have not been in that situation anyways

The only "sure thing" would have been going hard count on 4th and 1 and 90 for LSU jumping offside.

LET'S SEE

1)You're up by 3

2)You're on your own 30

3)There is less than 5 minutes left in the game

4)The opponent's starting QB has been knocked out and a true freshman has taken his place

I realize that was an agonizing way to lose but you punt that ball 100 out of 100 times.

Arkansas 4th quarter yardage was 25 yards. Two punts and a fumble. Both punts came with less than a yard to go. LSU scored on both of the successive possessions.

Arkansas got too conservative in the 4th. Even if you don't fake, or go for it on 4th, you don't play conservative as Arkansas did in the 4th.

Your coach did what we accuse Miles of doing, sitting on the lead.
