and you played TN and vandy the year before that, and UGA and Vandy the year before that. So one could say Bama fans have every right to bitch about your previous schedules as well.

It's funny that yall bitch about the same schedule that you played in the very recent past

I don't think you understand, or maybe you are too dense to understand.

A rotating schedule is obviously defensible. You can't argue with it - some years will be easier for teams and that is just the way it shakes out. A custom-made "bridge" schedule is not. Next year is not the rotating schedule and so you defense of the schedule on that basis is completely null.

Its obvious that mudderfracker dont care for UF very much...schedules our azz to go to CS to play A&M in their first ever SEC game...but lets Bama play them at BDS, but Johnny Football threw a wrench into that

This year we would have played Ole Miss away and AU at home...instead we got sidetracked by a "bridge". I know one thing...if UF has to travel to AU without a return game in the future I'll be pissed.

you will get your return game in 11 years

the sec needs to do a better job preventing conflict of interest type situations. A bama guy shouldn't be making schedules, they need to either contract that work out or hire some people not from the region. Clearly you cant have all employees with no ties to any sec school but their needs to be some checks and balances. when dealing with the schedules and refs there should be no conflict of interest or potential bias at all. contract that out and then make sure refs are under strict scrutiny that they have no ties to a school that is in a particular game or has a major interest in a game. These things seem like they should be common sense.

When JFF was 7 months old, he sawed off the legs of his parents bed in the middle of the night.

a nine year old son would have been born in 2004
In 2004 the quarterback of the USC Trojans was John David Booty

I have no qualms with USC fans making SEC schedules

LSU was supposed to get Kentucky this year, we got USC instead

Bama was supposed to get UGA this year. They got Mizzou instead

Bama was supposed to get UGA again next year, instead UGA winds up on LSU's schedule. Bama gets Kentucky instead.

That's awesome. He probably doesn't have the final say so over schedules, but we will never hear the end of this.

You didn't seriously think any Bama fans would aknowledge any advantage being derived from having a Bama grad create the bridge schedule did you?

Some LSU fans complained about UF being our contstant from the East so now we're labeled as whiners. It's easier for other fans to jump in and sing that song than it is to step back and actually try to use critical thinking ability.

how is it not a conflict of interest to allow someone that has ties to a school be in control of a one year schedule? what is wrong with contracting out the work to someone in the northeast with no ties? even if the person in the northeast came up with the same schedule as mark it would at least eliminate any question of being bias.

Yes, one guy made the entire league schedule all by himself

There is probably a panel of 4-5 guys that do it.

I'm sure 3 or 4 of them have ties to UA, so what's it matter?

I honestly dont have a big problem with perm opp. id do away with them myself but with that at least it has natural ups and downs just like the normal rotating schedule. I just dont like the idea of someone that has possible bias for one team getting to make a one year schedule.

Not entirely. Would it be that hard to get some guys without ties to SEC teams to figure the shite out? I will say that I don't think any BLATANT cheating goes on but you have to admit it's a little eye-brow raising when a guy like this, the head official, etc all have ties to one school. One is an Alum/former AD employee that no doubt cuts a check to Bama every year and in return isn't sitting in the upper decks when Bama's at home. You have a head ref calling a game when his daughters are enrolled at one of the universities... the same one he attended. Perception isn't good.

Umm, I don't see anywhere in that article that mentions him having anything to do with the schedule.

Did you even read the link you posted

Let's check it out

SEC Digital Network: Who was involved in putting together the 2013 SEC conference football schedule and what additional groups had input? Mark Womack: “It was a cooperative effort from all of our athletic directors to take the schedule and try to work through it, along with Larry Templeton and Mark Whitworth in our office.

Larry Templeton was AD at Miss State
Mark Whitworth is a Tenn guy
