100% spot on.

They feel they are entitled to our dollars and support.

Personally, should the SEC take on this policy, I would not attend another event.

I think it's ridiculous that the NCAA is taking political stances. I know they would never admit it, but what they're doing is a slap in the face to democracy, something they think they're defending. So a state passes a law through the democratic process. The NCAA says they don't like that law and punishes them by removing events from that state.

Regardless of whether or not you agree with the laws that are passed in a state, what the NCAA and NFL are doing is fundamentally hypocritical. Yes, they are private organizations and can do whatever they want. The problem is this sets a precedent that whenever they disagree with a law a state has passed, they'll just pull them from venue consideration. It's a slippery slope. They should not feel the need to interject themselves into politics as much as they do. If they continue down this path, they are going to be a lot of people that will grow tired of it and just decide not to spend their money on their product.

Correct at the end of the day it is all about money and there isn't a son of a bitch in the entertainment or sports industries that pay me a fricking dime. All our money is flowing to them.

How would the SEC go about implementing such a policy? Not let schools whose states create certain laws not host events? The SEC would disband in a heartbeat, given the political makeup of member states.

They preach inclusivity by excluding people for not believing the same thing they do. Nice job of saying one thing and doing a totally different!

@aggiedub Hey, it's the current year, who cares about little girls and their comfort level when I can virtue signal and pat myself on the back about how progressive I am. First off, this isn't a ban on private companies, they can do what they want. This is a ban on trans bathroom choices on public property. And you would choose the comfort of a dude that made a personal choice having to feel embarrassed for a few minutes over little girls and women who don't have a choice? That's a sad statement. Depravity before the fall.

Yes I love it when they say you have to bake a cake for someone and then Springsteen decides not to work for an entire state. Hypocrite.

I'll say this the DEMS will be an after thought very soon! They are committing political suicide and I love it. Our country was going in the wrong direction and when you have courts siding with 4 people over the rest of the country you know it's extreme. Then the bias media acted as though it was some kind of victory for them. Lmao, you just sided with a few people over the entire county and that's a win? Sure ok

The NCAA, NFL, NBA, etc, can all frick off as far as I'm concerned. But hey, that's just me. We could, and would, be fine without all three of them IMHO. Our world would not miss a beat.

They are a business. It's no different than other businesses pushing their political agendas.

This is true, but this is all assuming what they're doing is a good business decision. If they see their bottom line suffer as a result of pushing political agendas their investors don't like, then maybe they're making ignorant business decisions. And if they continue down this path, I can definitely see a situation where people do grow tired of having politics crammed down their throats and stop spending their money on that product. They need to remember they exist for our entertainment. When people are not entertained, they will spend their time and money elsewhere.

You realize courts are not supposed to do what is popular but what is right? In the 60s, there was a ton of judicial action that lead to laws that protected criminals. Nixon included it in his campaign platform. He spoke about how the courts were too powerful and made things too difficult for our law enforcement. Looking back, most people are pretty satisfied with those decisions made by the courts that were extremely unpopular at the time.

Sometimes, principle is more important than sports or money. I would like to have peace of mind when I go to a sporting event that a dude won't be taking a dump next to my wife and six yr old daughter. Inclusivity of the very few, to spite the many. It's not a question of inclusivity at this point, it's about common f*cking decency. If your a dude, and you choose to wear a dress and a wig, that's a choice. Our daughters don't get to make that choice.

How do you decide who is a "dude" and who isn't? The argument of "if you have a dick" doesn't work because what if a guy is in an accident and loses his penis? Is he no longer a "dude"?

So let's go with biology. Biology tells us that XX chromosome is female XY is male. However, there are a lot of people who don't fall into either of those categories. There are XXY, XYY, you even have cases where people have XX in one part of their body and XY in another.

Here's a question for you. You want this guy

Using the bathroom with your wife and daughter? He was born female.

This bathroom issue is ridiculous. It has only become an issue because people are making it an issue. If you look like a guy, go to the boys bathroom. If you look like a girl, use the girls bathroom. I don't think there is going to an attendant checking the goods when you walk in and asking for a DNA sample for verification. It's really not complicated.

The Dems didn't just elect an egotistical maniac who is owned by Russia. The Republicans are shitting themselves right now. They talked so much shite about repealing Obamacare because they "had something better". Turns out, they never had shite.

Neither party is great, but the republicans are pure fricking ignorant of what is really going on.

The NCAA has the right to determine where their events are going to be held. They can decide NOT to hold events in NCarolina or Texas and if someone does not like that, said person can boycott all NCAA events.
