I could believe that. Inexperience at QB is normally were you can give a team the most harsh criticism but in today's CFB it doesn't really matter. Maybe if Lane leaves and the replacement isn't impressive, I might rethink all of the above.

Also... Elston and Hilton being gone is going to be a big big hit. Hopefully Conner is ok and Hampton can step up. I agree on OVERALL team but we still have some big pieces to fill. Work on the delivery and you may be taken seriously.

I'll stick with the opinion that losing 3 off your 2 deep on the line, 3 of 4 LBs, and 2 starting safeties doesn't make your defense better.

we could be better and still lose three or four games. FSU in Florida is probably the toughest opener there is. Bama will be awesome again. LSU has all the pieces and we play there. And it'll be tough to win both of TAMU/Arky on the road. We should win the rest though.

And all this talk about LSUs greatness this year, where is that coming from? They have a top 3 roster talent wise every year, so talent is nothing new. They still have a mediocre QB and some other questions as well like the OL and front 7. Bama is the favorite to win the West until proven otherwise.

this is where we disagree. at worst, Ole Miss splits these games. To be honest, I worry more about the Arkansas game than I do bama or lsu.

That's possible. This could be one of the years that a 2-loss team wins the West. OM also plays Florida State on opening weekend in Orlando, so it's even possible a 3-loss team (2 SEC losses) wins the West.

There is more to football than just looking at last years stats. Your rattling is completely ignoring the fact that our best NT and safety last year didn't play because of injuries. Conner was a 3 and done if not for his knee injury and gross is by far our most disruptive defensive lineman.
They might come back just as good and they might never play on that same level. But when you keep spouting the same dumb shite without knowing what the frick you're talking about.....

And did you really point at our RB group as one that took a big hit? Really? Wow.....
