Their sissy style of football makes it impossible to beat teams like Arkansas

OP said it when you can't underestimate the importance of great quarterback play. He gives them a legitimate shot.

I think they will be in the hunt at the end of the year but fall short again. However, I think with this incoming class the will finally get over the hump in 2-3 years and even win the SEC.

They have a chance, but they are the UGA of the West...They're good to poop a game or two away every year they have no business losing. That's why it doesn't matter if Bama loses to them, we know they will fold a couple of times later in the year.

And all this talk about LSUs greatness this year, where is that coming from? They have a top 3 roster talent wise every year, so talent is nothing new. They still have a mediocre QB and some other questions as well like the OL and front 7. Bama is the favorite to win the West until proven otherwise.

They easily lose 4 this year. They lost too much in critical spots. Kelly is gonna have a worse year this year. Not cuz he's bad but his Oline will miss tunsil. They have good young linemen but that won't get it this year. Defense will be much worse. They still don't have depth you need. Not sure why anyone thinks otherwise. Next year they have a new QB so it won't be then. Year after? Maybe. But their recruiting will regress a bit now. Won't have any crippling sanctions. Maybe none at all but the shine is off. They will still be top 25 recruiting but that won't get it. They missed their shot.

Wow, you really don't know too much about the Ole Miss football team but I guess "hope & prayers" are the strategy of the uninformed.

No, there will be a couple of bounces against them like 4th & 25 last year. There best chance was last year and some of those key players that made last year a possibility are gone to the NFL.

They lost the bulk of their defense, the best players on their offense, and still don't have linebackers. Chad Kelly would have to turn into Tom Brady.

If they beat Bama in September, they will win the SEC and I think play for a national title.

Losing Treadwell and RN will not be as big as many here would like to believe. They are LOADED at WR and Breeland Speaks is better than RN because he actually gives effort.

Their program has gotten better each year under Freeze, most recently winning the Sugar Bowl.

I would put them right behind Bama as far as chance to win the SEC...and even the national title. Top to bottom, their roster is better than all but Bama and LSU. However, LSU has no direction from their head coach and no QB. Those are terminal issues that LSU will not overcome.

Do they have a chance absolutely. Will they? Probably not. They will have another good year for sure but I think they lose to Bama and LSU

He looked like Tom Brady last year when he shredded your defense.

I'll believe they can win the West when they actually do it.
