Ok, this is bullshite. 100% of people were 100% wrong, and that's not hyperbole.

I think the coaching staff would disagree with you....it would appear they got it right

5-6th round. Not as a QB

Agreed.

Julian Edelman's making a pretty good living right now and he'll almost certainly never throw a pass in the NFL.

Antwann Randle El and Matt Jones (until he snorted it away) also made pretty good livings without playing QB.

Not saying Sims is anywhere the level of these guys but he's pretty elusive with the ball in his hands so someone will give him a shot.

No, I don't see him being drafted at any position. His best bet is to win a national title and use his fame to make money inside the state after college. Insurance

I agree so he better win that 'ship.

Look what that QB coach did with him between April A-day and the start of the season. And he's got a lot better during this season. No pics (or even almost pics) in the MSU game. If he has an even higher gear then why not put him in as 3rd string and give him some exposure to an NFL training camp. He does have one thing already that most don't and that's pocket presence. It's a huge thing that's hard to teach but he's definitely got it.

I'm going out on a homer limb by predicting that Blake becomes the next Russell Wilson.
He has the winning intangibles and no stage is too big for him to shine.
And if you don't agree you can

Blake has proved people wrong his whole life... NO ONE should ever say that they know what this kid can or can't do. And you forget about the Saban factor.. if Saban says give the kid a chance he will get one... JPW got a shot and Blake's much better than him... The mobile QB is becoming very popular in the NFL you need one on your roster. The shorter QBs are doing well and all that helps... not to mention he excels in the toughest division and the toughest conference in college football.. with the best defenses and the biggest fastest DLmen.. He will het a shot 4-6 rounds depending on how he finishes this season.

You seriously think Blake Sims is a good as an athlete as Nick Marshall?

Blake sims is 100% as good an athlete as marshall, and a better passer and qb as well. He just doesnt play in a system where he keeps option plays all the time. Honestly I wish he would pull it a little earlier some plays, take advantage of the acres of open field in front of him when a team manages to actually cover all our receivers

He's too good for the draft - he's not a man, he's a god

He will definitely get a chance at the next level even if it's for a few months. Who knows after that?!
He definitely has proven to be a better player than we all thought.

I don't get why aLburn fans want to have the Marshall is a better athlete argument.. does it make y'all feel special? You honestly don't know who's the fastest or who has the strongest arm and none of it really matters.. Blake would excel and be just as good in the barn's offense as Marshall... there is little chance that Marshall could do as well as Blake in Bama's offense.

I could see an argument being made, but to act like there is a big gap between the two in athleticism is ignorant.

Exactly. I don't think he is quite as athletic as Randle El but he is "bigger" than Edelman.

If Michael Robinson (QB - Penn State) can make a decent few years switching to fullback, Blake Sims can find somewhere on the field to be. It just won't be at QB. Hopefully he doesn't make the mistake of Tebow or Pat White.
