Damn, how old are you? With the history of Alabama, Sims is one of your all-time favorites???

Obviously he would never succeed as an NFL QB but is his performance enough to get him drafted?
If you know he would never succeed as an NFL quarterback, why would you draft him?

I don't think he gets drafted as an athlete or quarterback, but that's just me... He's not an exceptional athlete like Pat White, Armanti Edwards, Matt Jones, Nick Marshall (will be drafted but not as a quarterback) and so forth - and the first 3 listed were drafted as athletes.

I'm not saying he's a bad athlete, but he's not in the same league as others I listed and I don't think he could make a positional change in the NFL (even though he would be better suited to). IMO, he's not a good enough athlete to get drafted on measurables alone.

I believe he will, as a QB.

Tyrod Taylor was drafted in the 6th Rd in 2011 and has been Baltimore's backup QB ever since.

Only difference is that Taylor sucked for 3 seasons before he had a good one.

You seriously think Blake Sims is a good as an athlete as Nick Marshall?

i think he'll get picked up as a fa by someone ... might make the team as a 3rd stringer after bouncing around on a scout team ... this is his first year as qb, and he hasn't played terribly ...

Let's not forget about Logan Thomas...

Although, I think we can all agree that he was drafted strictly because of measurables, right?

He was awful at Virginia Tech...

Does he get to throw to Cooper at the combine?

Thomas did some good things, and a lot of awful plays.

With his natural talent, some thought they could fix him. Remains to be seen, but Arians is a good man for the job.

Hell, Jordan Jefferson got picked up by Tampa Bay ... based on that, no doubt Sims will be an UDFA.

He certainly fits hit offense, in the sense of him loving strong armed, big quarterbacks that can push the ball down the field.
