Always going to wonder why Auburn/SC didn't happen more often. Heck we've played Alabama more than them.

All it takes is one booster. Ask Oregon. Or Oklahoma State.

Yeah but Oregon petered out the moment Chip left. Their problem is it's damned hard to recruit there in football. OK State isn't one I'd consider a true success despite having a good booster.

That said, I think it would be TONS easier for an SEC team to do it. But it's not just money or even recruits or coaching. Institutions - boosters and admins etc that know how to get things done - make a world of difference.

SEC wants to help the Cock' s self confidence. If y'all haven't beat Auburn in 84 years and it's happening every single year then that mentality of losing is going to spread throughout tour

Since the playoff format has started, I've felt more and more that the "little guys" have less of a chance.

Getting to the Sugar or Cotton gets way overshadowed now by the playoff, whereas before it was a momentum builder.

It's harder for us little guys to make headway in this format. Since the beginning of the playoff it seems that the Bamas and OSUs of the world are getting better by a higher magnitude than in the BCS.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy it as a fan of CFB. I just think it dilutes bowl season, and makes it harder for good teams that might be a piece or two away from breaking through.
