I would think you'd have a headache leaving every game. I needed an excedrin just after watching the a&m game on tv.

How do they find their cows if all their bells are in Davis Wade.

It's gross to listen to on media. Being right between two people ringing cowbells would be nauseating.

Here's my defense of the cowbell:

Every stadium plays noise while the visiting team is on offense, either loud music or some obnoxious animal sound. This noise is blasted over the stadium sound system right up until the actual snap of the football. So stop crying about MSU's mean ol' cowbells.

That said, they make my head hurt

Cowbells are the most beautiful sound in the world! And of course opposing teams hate them. That's the point.

Your 3rd down rooster noises are way worse than the cowbells.

Here's a real answer: No, I don't. They're loud as shite and can make a stadium sound larger than it really is.

The only thing I love more than the cowbells is how much everybody else hates them. If y'all loved them, then they wouldn't be doing their jobs.

No, that is not true.

Only stadiums where fans are lazy do that.

I seriously don't even hear them anymore. Just part of watching at State game - you get use to it.

I've seen 5-6 games in Starkville and the cowbells can be brutal. What really surprised me is the last time I was there I sat in a skybox and the noise gets trapped in there and it actually hurts your ears. I'm surprised the big State donors put up with paying huge money for those seats and not being able to carry on a conversation.
