seriously don't even hear them anymore. Just part of watching at State game - you get use to it.
What's funny is this couldnt' be more true for me. One cowbell next to me hurts my head like hell. But a stdium full of them I'm not sure it even fazes me.
I personally don't use a cowbell.

If they tried to near me, I'd beat their arse and take their noise maker.

That's weird because, though it has been three years since I've been to Starkville, I still hear them

dont even notice them at the games

Yeah but you are an Ole Miss Fan and are used to watching a game with fans who think they are on a golf course. I wouldn't expect you to understand what a football atmosphere is supposed to be like.

You must've been to a lot of Bama games.

Every stadium plays noise while the visiting team is on offense, either loud music or some obnoxious animal sound.
Wrong.

Not only that, but the home teams need their own bells when state visits.
Try that when MSU visits Death Valley on a Saturday Night.
Cheating fricks.

One of my best friends is a MS fan. I went to the MS/LSU game a few years back with him. The people were great...had a great time pre-game.
Went to game and almost got sick listening to that crap. never again

They are fricking awful and make MSU fans sound like clowns.
Absolutely hate them.
Damn. Cowbells and losing. Awful tradition.

Opposing teams should ban cowbells when MSU visits, and allow home team fans to have vuvuzela's. Gawd those are annoying...ha

Are you under the impression that opposing team stadiums allow State fans to bring cowbells?

I was in Tuscaloosa a few years ago up in the top of the stadium near Jesus when another foolhardy State fan started ringing his cowbell. Security promptly appeared out of nowhere and put down the disturbance. It was like Darth Vader Force-choking Captain Needa!
Don't know why they harsh that poor guy's buzz.
But to answer the original question--No
