You guys will never be happy till you become like Bama. Newsflash bro: it will never happen. Saban has ruined your fanbase man. He gave you a little taste of the good life and now you are all entitled and think you are something you aren't. A program like LSU should be thrilled with 9 and 10 win seasons.

Can't wait until the melt begins when Saban is gone and Bamais no longer a threw to anyone. It is going to happen. It's easy to sit on your god damn high horse right now, but when the bottom drops out from under Bama, you will be just as pissed off as we are now.

You must not understand what a melt is. No one is melting. Resigned, maybe. But not melting.

Dude. The newest thread over there now has the OP encouraging the LSU football players to quit on Miles and take it easy. The OP states that in his opinion Leonard Fournette may already be doing this.

That's not a melt? Encouraging your team's football players to play to lose and quit on the coach so he gets fired??

They set themselves up for disappointment with all that off season chest thumping. Les keeps hiring a new DC and should have hired a new OC several seasons ago. And then he has to do something crazy like actually let the OC run the offense.

Even Alabama fans aren't as cocksure heading into a season as LSU fans. Then this happens.

When Brandon Harris is good, he's good, but when he is bad, he's bad.

Why was it acceptable for Georgia to fire Mark Richt but it was blasphemy for LSU to want Miles gone?

Because of the flip-flopping.

Before the 2015 season the fans loved Les. After the losses to Arky and Ole Miss, the fans hated Les. After the win vs the Aggies and the bowl game win, the fans loved Les again!
After Dameyune Craig and Dave Aranda were hired, LSU fans went nuts and loved Les more than ever!

THEN, after the very first game of the 2016 season, people hate Les, want him fired immediately and they want Dave Aranda to be interim HC.

I got dizzy just typing about all of this fickle flip flopping.

Us older Bama fans remember the bad times.

Which is why some of us give yall pure hell when it's good because we know we'll have a down period again one day.

Today is not that day. Keep playing like this please so I can call you L6U in a couple months.

So yeah, we're entitled, the fans of unquestionably the greatest program in the history of the game get to do that.

He won you a title. My point was as a program even with Saban you are what you are.

Yeah. The only major program in a talent rich state, 11th in all-time wins, and just a half step below perennial blue bloods like Notre Dame, Texas, Ohio State, Michigan, Alabama.

You guys have a lower ceiling than Bama does.

Most years I'd agree with you.

It doesn't mean you should fire a coach for not stacking up to a Saban coached Bama.

When he gets fired, it won't be for not stacking up to a Saban-coached Alabama. It'll be for consistently losing to Ole Miss and Arkansas - teams we should consistently beat.

You're trying to be cute though.

When Harris is good, he's pretty solid.

When he's bad, he's a liability.

That was the best comparison to Dobbs I've seen. With Harris instead of Dobbs, you get a slightly higher potential reward, and an incredibly higher risk.

And this is what Saban needs to be afraid of. If they get a real good coach they will be on Bama's level.

Variations of this are said every year. Again, for every win LSU has against Bama, Bama has two against LSU.

Don't confuse amusement with fear.

Natties. Hook, crook or blind luck, nattties.

Otherwise, Miles would be an HC in the Big Ten or whatever it is now, or an OL coach at Michigan.
