Nope. Scared that I would not be able to look away if I did.

I did however warn emphatically about be over optimistic.

LSU fans are the most reactionary on here, followed closely by Tennessee fans.

You guys will never be happy till you become like Bama. Newsflash bro: it will never happen. Saban has ruined your fanbase man. He gave you a little taste of the good life and now you are all entitled and think you are something you aren't. A program like LSU should be thrilled with 9 and 10 win seasons.

That's an interesting argument, as 9 win seasons were all LSU was good for under Saban, save 2003.

You must not understand what a melt is. No one is melting. Resigned, maybe. But not melting.

As a general rule, if they don't bring up the stupid shite on Hogville, I don't mention Tiger Rant. It's sort of a gentleman's agreement.

LSU is the Hillary Clinton of College Football. Propped up by the love of the press, but reality eventually wipes its d___ on their chin.

So who's the Donald Trump of college football? Because I need them to build a wall around Louisiana and make Alabama pay for it. Make LSU great again.

Tired of other teams telling us we should keep our once decent coach when he's crashing our program into a flaming pile of dog shite. Of course you want LSU to be mired in mediocrity (are we even mediocre anymore?). Nope, I'm done, because I know no matter what happens the rest of the year, we will ALWAYS be the same team with Les as our HC.

Every fan base has the right to this opinion you just expressed. What's weird, though is the schizoid nature of the fanbase. Here's what I mean: LSU fanbase last season before the Texas A&M game "WE HATE LES". After the bowl game the LSU fanbase be all "WE LOVE LES".

But now after the first game of the season - after a loss by a mere 2 points, it's "frick MILES MILES SUCKS FIRE HIM NOW "

That's how your fanbase can torpedo the whole season. The players realize that the fans aren't behind them and the coach, so the players don't play so hard. The coaches? Well, they are updating their resumes because it's apparent that LES SUCKS and will be fired.

For the record I say LSU goes 9-3 OR 8-4 (can't decide) BUT I feel very sure that LSU will win their bowl game.

National Championship game will be Alabama vs. Ohio State.

Just about every fanbase will melt from time to time. It's normal.

He won you a title. My point was as a program even with Saban you are what you are. You guys have a lower ceiling than Bama does. It doesn't mean you should fire a coach for not stacking up to a Saban coached Bama.

Les is a key component in Ole Miss' modest rise to relevance. Pls don't screw this up for us LSU

No. The coach should he fired for consistently losing to lesser programs like Ole Miss and Arkansas while always putting together a passing game that's on par with the service academies and triple option teams.

LSU should have fired Les 4 years ago. That school would be fricking deadly with a competent offensive head coach.

After the 3 game skid, it was time for him to go, but media backlash and sympathetic fans who didn't want to hurt his feelings as well as the leadership at LSU kept him from getting the axe. Rather than bitch up a storm for the entire off season, we gave Les one last chance and hoped the for the best. Maybe the close call would spark a change him in how he ran the team.

That didn't happen. Wisconsin was the epitome of everything we've hated in the new Les Miles era. We play sloppy week to week and players look lost on every play. It's not fun to watch. It's NOT. FUN. TO. WATCH.

It's not just about the losses. It's about how the losses happen. It's about how the wins happen. Even our wins aren't fun to watch anymore.

Sorry, Les. I will always appreciate the good things you've done for LSU, but now you're just tarnishing your accomplishments.

I've seen much worse on the rant, which bothers me to be honest.

The fanbase has become something much, much worse than irate and/or irrational.......it's become apathetic.

And this is what Saban needs to be afraid of. If they get a real good coach they will be on Bama's level.

But Cam Cameron made Tom Brady. And Aranda is the best DC in the country. And LF7. And so on.

We are a top 3 producer of NFL talent over the last few decades. This century we have 2 NCs , 4 SEC titles, and more 10+ win seasons than sub 10 win seasons.

You really think we are Ole Miss, Arkansas, or Mississippi state? We should be thrilled over a 9 or 10 win season?
