It is astounding to witness an entire fanbase turn on their winningest football HC ever after the very first game of the season.

"Coach Miles is a LIAR. He said that there would be changes on offense and there were NONE."

FALSE: I saw the changes. I saw many pass attempts on 1st Down. It was not just 3 yards and a cloud of dust. Miles DID try to change things. The passes simply weren't executed.

The LSU fanbase wants Miles fired YESTERDAY. But what happens in the next couple of weeks when LSU wins a couple of ball games? WE LOVE LES AGAIN! comes back in full force!

What a schizoid fanbase. WE LOVE LES WE HATE LES WE LOVE LES WE HATE LES. If one wants to fit in over there, you have to pay close attention to what the groupthink of the moment is thinking.

HEY LSU. Relax. It's only the first game of the season. Wisconsin is a pretty good team, you know. It's kind of disrespectful to just whine about the coach's play calling instead of giving props to the other team.

HEY LSU. Stop hurting your Recruiting by telling the whole world that your Head Coach is gone, maybe before Christmas.

LSU should have fired Les 4 years ago. That school would be fricking deadly with a competent offensive head coach.

They set themselves up for disappointment with all that off season chest thumping. Les keeps hiring a new DC and should have hired a new OC several seasons ago. And then he has to do something crazy like actually let the OC run the offense.

It'd be one thing if Wisconsin lucked or played out of their minds and grabbed a win. That's not what happened; instead, their objectively less talented players punched out guys in the mouth (figuratively).

The only time we seemed actually bigger/badder than them is when Boutte punched that dude in the mouth literally in what was one of the stupidest POS moves I've seen from an LSU player in as long as I can remember.

Absolutely. What has he accomplished since then besides destroy LSU fans expectations? LSU needs to adopt a spread offense to win titles.

Got my own concerns. Don't need to bother with the concerns of others.

That's certainly understandable.

Tired of other teams telling us we should keep our once decent coach when he's crashing our program into a flaming pile of dog shite.

Of course you want LSU to be mired in mediocrity (are we even mediocre anymore?). Nope, I'm done, because I know no matter what happens the rest of the year, we will ALWAYS be the same team with Les as our HC.

You guys will never be happy till you become like Bama. Newsflash bro: it will never happen. Saban has ruined your fanbase man. He gave you a little taste of the good life and now you are all entitled and think you are something you aren't. A program like LSU should be thrilled with 9 and 10 win seasons.

The offense has been bad, but is there currently a better coach that is going to be available to LSU?

That's a program that warrants an experienced head coach, not an assistant in his first job.

Why was it acceptable for Georgia to fire Mark Richt but it was blasphemy for LSU to want Miles gone?

You're right, and it's unfortunate. People are going to look at past success from Les, assume that's possible in his future, and demand a coach with an equally strong resume.

That's not the way you improve your odds.

Pretty sure they didn't vote THEMSELVES into the top 5, so it wasn't just them drinking their own Kool Aid.

I just chalk their AP ranking up to one more data point in a year of outrageously bad media.

LSU is the Hillary Clinton of College Football. Propped up by the love of the press, but reality eventually wipes its d___ on their chin.
