For those of us who need Bama to lose, the whispers out of Indy tonight aren't sounding good

Nothing will happen here and nothing should. This isn't news to LSU and their compliance dept, I'm pretty confident in that.

Where does it say Leonard has managers?
Precedent was set by Cam Newton. Athlete doesn't get penalized for parents breaking the rules. Isn't that how it went?

Wat?
An acronym a player uses cnt be sold? What Would Buga Do?
Who cares if the family got a contract for an acronym website? This is so dumb.

Keep grasping for straws.
Pretend my son is a 5 star QB recruit. He commits to Bama. I then decide to start a new company. It can be any company, let's say a car wash. A local Birmingham construction firm would normally charge 100 grand to build the facility, but they offer to build it for 50,000 due to the fact that my son plays for Alabama, as well as promises I have made to promote and use his company for future ventures involving my son's celebrity status. He builds the car wash, but the car wash is shut down and fails to make any money. Did I receive an illegal benefit and is my son ineligible if he had any knowledge of it? Yes and yes.
And it is obvious LF7 knew of the business considering his whole family is wearing the shirts at his commitment ceremony.
My point is that the success of this apparel company is irrelevant. It is not the profits from the merchandise that is under question. It is the illegal benefit of a company building a $30,000 website for $10,000 (that has yet to be paid) due to LF7's athlete status and promises of future business dealings with LF7.
