Against a top defense. Where is Auburn ranked in defense? Do they break the top 50?

True. We will see how Pease does. Not having RoPo or Easley will suck though. At least not against UT. TxAm is going to be a great game though. I think UF pulls it out. 8-9 wins this yr. LSU, USCe, UGA, and maybe FSU as losses.

Brantley was terrible. Good luck telling me about UF, when you don't even have a clue about UT.

So because UF is running a pro style offense, but lost arguably the worst QB of all time, and 2 scat backs, we're going to be terrible. That makes a ton of sense. Like I said, stick to UT football, or better yet, don't post on this board with the lack of knowledge you portray.

UGA and FSU are toss ups.

Easley will be back for Fall practice likely.

RoPo out until October.

Best of all though, we don't have Charlie the Hutt slogging away on his cooler not giving a damn anymore.

Charlie was almost more useless than Dooley, almost.

At least Dooley can kind of recruit.

We will see if UF has an offense. Does UT have anything that resembles a running game, kicking game or defense?

UF had both Diggs and Agholor in the bag, before Weis left. That's the ONLY thing Weis could do, recruit. Dude was completely useless in every other area, except for picking up donuts for coaches meetings.

I think it will be decent-solid. The left side should be much improved with Tiny Richardson taking Marcus Jackson's spot.

kicking game

We fricked.

defense

28th ranked defense last year with everybody back. All depends on how we adjust to the 3-4.

Does Tennessee have the horses to run a 3-4? Alabama ran a 4-3 in 2007 simply because we didn't have the guys needed for the 3-4.

I was under the impression that recruits hated Weis after what Cordarrelle said about him.

quote:

Patterson on which school was runner-up: “Shoot, I don’t know. You could put Georgia, LSU and Ole Miss in there together.”

Patterson on which non-Tennessee coach was the nicest: “The Ole Miss coach [Hugh Freeze] is a good guy. I wish I could’ve gotten to know him a lot more. He came in there at the end. I wish I could’ve gotten to know him like the Tennessee coaches.” Not the nicest? “Probably the KU coach, Charlie Weis. He was kind of mean. He was straight forward, yelling and screaming, and all this stuff. I didn’t have time for that.”

Bottom line is it's now been 2767 days since UT beat UF.

Lol, first off if they were so bad then why in the world did the play the whole season?

It doesn't matter that they were scat backs, they were still your most productive players. Hands down. No one else on the team even came close on offense. Are you going to tell me some runningback who couldn't earn a spot last year is suddenly going to have a breakout year?

With how bad Brantly was, the freshmen were a lot worse. Its going to take time for them to read defenses. It not going to happen overnight smart one.

Good try though.

I just hope they don't rush back. I wouldn't have a problem RSing them.

When he left LA Tech, Tech got a better coach, IMO.

I don't think Weis recruited Patterson while he was at UF. I'm sure by the time Weis got to KU, he had no chance with Patterson.

Idiotic post. UF didn't exactly give him a lot to work with. Everyone knows that it is Petersen's offense at Boise, not Pease's. How well has Bryan Harsin done at Texas?
