He didn't inherit situations remotely related to those jobs. And none of those programs have the prestige that programs like UT does (or did have).

He has had to play over 40 freshmen and start over 20 in the past 2 years in the hardest conference with a top 5 strength schedule the past 2 years. How are the situations not related? We pretty much have been on probation.

I have my team "big boy". Forgive me for stating an opinion. Next time I'll laugh at your shitty school like the rest of the SEC

Eta: just saw that there is a poster called "Jerry the clown" that you were talking to. Still, I know the Internet is just making its way to tenn, learn how to use it.

When's the last time class won games? Dooley's garbage. At the very least his hair and showering technique will get his foot in the door with Herbal Essences when he's fired. So he has that going for him. As for UT and that new AD of yours Dave Hart from the Clown College, both of you suck kawk. You're like the nerd who gets excited about the prom queen saying hello, but goes home to Star Trek reruns and a bottle of Jergens while she's being plugged like an outlet. See you in September when the Gators go for 8 straight and I show up to eat your food, fornicate with your women and enjoy your orange creamsicle tears when UF wins. VFLDIAF.

The situation he inherited was a decent senior class, a god awful junior class, a god awful sophomore class, and a very solid group of commitments.

He has not done very well at all with the little talent he did inherit. He has not recruited at an elite level, either, but has improved the talent level to the upper middle third of the SEC imo.

But I wouldn't be comparing his current plight to lesser programs and how they fared under new head coaches.

Remember, that's not a valid excuse. Circa 2002-2005.

I agree on some points. He hasn't recruited at an elite level, but that will change if he wins. Negative recruiting is killing him.

We had a very mediocre senior class. Stocker, Moore, and Jones were great, but we didn't have a qb to throw to them. Bray wasn't ready at the first of the year.

I think he has done solid with what he has. Not great, but not terrible. He has had a lot of bad luck too with injuries and the UNC game.

Everything else I agree on though.

I was comparing his La Tech record to other coaches who had to rebuild also.

What was UF's record with a freshmen qb last year?

I am not making excuses. I do not believe Dooley will succeed at Tennessee and I've made that pretty clear. What i posted was pretty fact-based.

Something is very snake like about Dooley.

I actually believe Tennessee will upset a couple of good SEC east teams. I feel like people are sleeping on the Vols.

Typical response from a gator. What year did you graduate? Honestly you should keep you FMS unless you have something vested in the university besides your jorts and trailer in Gainesville

Not really. I have lived South of Knoxville for half my life. The Vol fans are the worst at arrogance and are always talking shite about this is the year and then they lose and then it starts all over again in July and August. If JB4 can beat UT, then that tells you how bad they are. Their fans deserve all the shite that UT is going through except for Pat. Just like UF deserved to suck when they let UM return. WM has UF headed back towards the top.

Again, what was UF's record with a freshmen qb starting, and how many yards did he have?
