Bear Bryant was 17-4 against LSU.
Don't think they were too scared of 'death valley.'

But he said nice things about DV.

There's a moral victory in there somewhere.

The stadium was the point. Not the team hosting. Although they had some great teams. Never could beat Bryant though.

South Carolina has a great baseball program and basketball is coming on strong. They had a good run with spurrier in football. I've never even thought about Clemson in anything until five years ago. (Football)

Clemson did not start the Death Valley slogan, that honor goes all the way back to the 1910's, when a sport writer called a Northeastern school's new bowl stadium Death Valley.

The question still is did Grantland Rice called Tiger stadium Death Valley in the 1930's.

When they were trying to get the Grantland Rice Bowl played at Tiger stadium, this bit of information was used to support the effort to get the bowl game played in Tiger stadium. I still have not found this article since 1970 searching, but remember Grantland's sport articles are hard to find form the 1930's around my area.

And then we won a national championship, imagine what you will be thinking in 10 years...

Great baseball program when they won back to back championships, idk if you watched this year but they missed the tourney lol. And as much as Scar fans say that Clemson's run is over, their whole basketball team was on LivePD a few weeks ago wearing a Clippers shirt so I'm pretty sure he's gone, by their logic their run in basketball is done.

When did you start watching football if you had only heard about Clemson after we beat LSU?

You should get out more. If your mom will let you.

Saying dumb things doesn't trigger anyone like you hope it will. It just makes you look like you don't have a clue about this kind of thing.

Dude....they interviewed him. It was a planned interview. And guess why he had a Clippers shirt on, farthole? Because he was drafted by the Clippers. And our basketball run is just getting started, inbreed. What you saw last year is just the tip of the iceberg. Sin was an important part of our team, certainly. But the rest of the team is back and there's plenty more talent to take Sin's place.

you sound angry. Deep breathes. I never thought of Clemson before five years ago because y'all were garbage. Anytime you had hype, you would Clemson your opportunity.

So the two good players y'all had - Thornwell and Dozier - leave and you'll be better?

Maybe you should follow your team a little closer and stop worrying about those taters so much.

Maybe I know a little more about our program and what's happening with it than you do.

I swear I would prefer 5 butthole's worth of the world's worst hemorrhoids rather than having to deal with a single tater on this board.

Per usual, gross.

I guess Dozier sucked, huh?

I'm a nurse. Things most ppl consider gross aren't even a blip on my radar. Occupational hazard.

Where did you see me say that? We have more talent that can fill the need that their absence created. Simple as that.

Uh, Auburn hasn't won in BR in what? 3 decades? The last time Auburn beat LSU in BR Tubby was your coach. Pretty daunting. I have no idea what success you've had in Clemson. But good luck!

Dang! With the amount of Clemson fans on this board, chicken just needs to add a 'Tater Rant' board.

Conference envy much, guys?

There's always a Clemson post/topic on SEC Rant. If those never happened then you probably wouldn't see that many Clemson posters on here. What's funny is 1/4 of SEC schools are never mentioned on this board. Maybe it's the other way around?
