Meh...so I was wrong. I'm absolutely woman enough to admit when I'm wrong. Definitely doesn't change the fact that LSU's is the better Death Valley.

ESPN thought it was in North Carolina several years back. Had the graphic saying "clemson, North Carolina" on television.

Neither place is a real 'death valley'. That whole moniker is just a made up nickname to try to instill some sense of ' oooohhhh, dreadful things happen there' in people who find themselves in the dire situation of having to travel there.
C'mon, the only folks that face death there are the drunks who get to close too the edge of the catwalks.
A large number of those home wins are against 'rent a wins' who are paid handsomely to be a sacrifical lamb.
A home team does have the advantage of not having had to travel, and having slept in their own beds and having the majority of the fans in the stands - but there are no P5 schools that are paralyzed by the thought of venturing there. It's just another field.
