Clemson rips off everything from SEC teams..both LSU and Auburn.

There's only one Death Valley, and it ain't orange.
Clemson is the least original school you could think of, they copied Auburn's colors, LSU's stadium nickname and their mascot is "Tigers".

Clemson Memorial Stadium opened in 1942. Expanded over the years, the facility is an imposing place to play—so imposing that football coach Lonnie McMillian of Presbyterian College dubbed it “Death Valley” because his teams always got “killed” on the field. Coach Frank Howard began using the term in the 1950s, and it stuck. With a seating capacity of more than eighty thousand, “Death Valley” comes to life each fall as students, alumni, and fans converge in a sea of orange. The pregame tradition of the team running down the hill after rubbing Howard’s Rock while the Clemson University Tiger Band plays “Tiger Rag” has been called one of the most exciting twenty-five seconds in college football.

Actually, he linked to a pretty lame article. This LINK explores the issue much more in depth and doesn't necessarily agree with the other article.

Clemson has much easier schedule
I'm guessing that he's trolling and knows that SEC strength-of-schedules are much tougher than the ACC's, but then again this is Sid E. Walker we're talking about.

UGA is 8-7-2 in the SC Death Valley
UGA is 5-5-1 in the LA Death Valley
Obviously, LSU's Death Valley is tougher

Likewise, South Carolina has won numerous times in clem's death valley.
In the real Death Valley, however? We've won ONCE at LSU.
Pretty obvious which is the tougher venue.

Neither place is a real 'death valley'. That whole moniker is just a made up nickname to try to instill some sense of ' oooohhhh, dreadful things happen there' in people who find themselves in the dire situation of having to travel there. C'mon, the only folks that face death there are the drunks who get to close too the edge of the catwalks. A large number of those home wins are against 'rent a wins' who are paid handsomely to be a sacrifical lamb. A home team does have the advantage of not having had to travel, and having slept in their own beds and having the majority of the fans in the stands - but there are no P5 schools that are paralyzed by the thought of venturing there. It's just another field. Drop the whole 'Death Valley' B.S.
In 2009 former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee stated on Sean Hannity's Fox News show that "Unfair is playing LSU on a Saturday night in Baton Rouge."

famed Alabama head coach Bear Bryant once remarked that "Baton Rouge happens to be the worst place in the world for a visiting team. It's like being inside a drum."[6] In 2001, ESPN sideline reporter Adrian Karsten said, "Death Valley in Baton Rouge is the loudest stadium I've ever been in."[7] In 2002, (Ohio) coach Terry Hoeppner said of Tiger Stadium, "That's as exciting an environment as you can have ... we had communication problems we haven't had at Michigan and Ohio State."[7] In 2003, ESPN's Chris Fowler called LSU his favorite game day experience.

Clemson absolutely started it. LSU's stadium's nickname was a play on Clemson's "Death Valley" - "Deaf Valley" in reference to how loud and rowdy LSU fans are. People got the two confused and "Deaf Valley" slowly morphed into "Death Valley" and now both are nicknamed that. I do think that LSU's "Death Valley" is more notorious though.
Maybe the tatertots started it.... but we all know which is the REAL DV.
As a side note, I really get a kick out of how we'll sit around the rant and dog the crap outta each other's programs, but when somebody from out of conference says something we all kinda CE to each other's defense.
Well... AnM excluded, of course. I feel like that should just be implied at this point.
...and bama.

When one can't come up with anything intelligent to say...
I'm trying to remember the last time the Razorbacks played at 'death valley.'
Didn't Arkansas win that game? Seems like we did maybe.
Wasn't LSU ranked at the time, like #9 or something?
Anyway, if I recall correctly the final score was something like Arkansas 31 - LSU 14. Did we take a knee?
I think it was a Saturday night in Baton Rouge... think someone said there was 101,000 people there too.

This pisses the hell out of other conferences about the SEC. They will quickly tell anyone willing to listen that they don't understand this about us as a conference. Just another reason why we, as a conference, are superior.

Just ignore the other posts huh? When Bear Bryant and many other credible people seem to disagree with you, bury your head in the sand. Pathetic. Oh, keep getting your jollies off on Alabama left overs. Les Miles' teams always gave up after the Bama game.

If you had any idea how bad it makes USCe fans look every time you crow about your great conference.
You have to contribute something to squawk about it. Other than profane tirades about the sub-human taters, dick riding real football programs, and leaching conference payouts, I don't see what you're always screeching about.

Scar never frickin wins in football so that is the absolutely last way to judge it. The last time Scar was in Death Valley they got beat by 49, have you ever taken a 49 point arse whoopin at LSU?
