It's hard to say which is "better" because they have such significant stylistic differences. But Freeze has a higher ceiling, imho. Mullen has done more with less than Freeze, but I think Freeze would perform better at the highest echelons than Mullen would.

Pretty much this

Mullen is undefeated with a win over a #8 team this year. That's really all that matters. He owns the best win in the SEC so far.

How many know that Hugh Freeze applied for the Nicholls State job down here in Thibodaux when we hired Charlie Stubbs.

I like Freeze. Even though Mullen has a more complex and efficient offense and a run game every year, I need a coach that'll tell me, the fan, what I want to hear..

I'd pick Hugh Freeze but he reminds me of a hybrid between honey boo boo's mom and a chipmunk and I'm not sure I could deal with that.

Why do you think that Ole Miss is such a "better Job" than State?

It is unquestionably. Let's look at all of our former coaches, and then look at State's, and then tell me which one is a coach's graveyard and which one usually goes onto to still be successful coaches of other major programs. I don't think State has any coaches so far that have done it, while Ole Miss has several, and I'd be shocked if Nutt isn't coaching some other major school within 2 years.

Let's take Ole Miss and State completely out of the equation, and just go with School A and B. School A, the predecessors almost always go on to have equal or better paying jobs. School B, they almost always get demoted to some sort of coordinator and never see the head coaching job again. I'd blindly go with School A if they had the same pay.

I would take Freeze. He is a better recruiter. I think Mullen is probably a slightly better x's and o's guy though.

I think this might be right on.

Let's look at them. Since you brought it up, why don't you compile a list for us?

What if school B beats school A on the reg, has better facilities and is headed on the right direction?

And has a run game. ..

Who gives a shite if I'm going to be unemployed in 5 years and making half of what I am making now? I'd rather have a more guaranteed long term good income. I know that's all State fans care about, but more rational people actually give a shite about more than one game a year.

Where are all these coaches at? Besides Croom, who was an experiment as a HC in the first place I dunno what you're saying.

Isn't Ogeron a demoted assistant?

How confused and delusional are you about OM?

That shite is so old.

Yeah we put emphasis on the game, We don't act like it isn't a big deal.

Y'all think that from week 1 up until the egg bowl all we do is watch film of Ole Miss every week? Prepare for Ole Miss every week?

Oh wait? You were talking about the fans only caring about one game a year? Yeah that has a huge impact on how the team treats each game.

It's fricking stupid.

Ole Miss has an awesome QB who is bipolar, no run game whatsoever and a questionable O line. SEC play is going to look worse than most think I'm afraid and that Hugh Facade offense is going to shine like a dogs dick.

Nobody knows how good LSU is right now. I would have to say that on paper, A&Ms win over USC is a better win.
