State has every advantage as far as facilities go. That's not even debatable.

Let's not act like they're THAT much better than ours (Excluding the Tad Pad )

That was a team effort, especially from the defensive perspective. I don't remember our offensive line playing poorly in that game though.

States defense wasn't too shabby either.

I don't know if State's defense was impressive or LSU's offense was atrocious

If anything holds you back from a special season it is definitely going to be your o-line. You guys are giving up over 7 TFL's per game so far.

We've given up 4.0 and 2.0, respectively, in the last two games.

The Boise game, we had two TFLs occur on 4th and 1 with Kincade and Liggins running as QB. However, their defensive line stopped our run game all night.

Yeah, the only decent team you have faced really shut down your run game.

I think Memphis may have a decent run defense? Probably a step below Boise State, but it should allow you to see if you are progressing.

I don't think there's any doubting that if we are going to beat any of the West teams, it'll be on Bo and the passing game.

Or you know work?

Tommy Tuberville is head coach at Cincinatti, Cutcliffe is head coach at Duke, and last year Orgeron was head coach of USC. I'd bet both Orgeron and Nutt will be back in the head coaching fray within 3 years.

And what the hell do y'all have?

Sorry I've got better shite to do than immediately post on a college sports site 24/7.

Are you bragging about coaches leaving you for better jobs?

Sherrill retired and Croom's career was unaffected (went back to being an NFL RB's coach).

By default. There's a reason they didn't ask him to return as the head coach. What exactly did he do at Ole Miss? fricking nothing. I guess we need to get a coordinator at a school that sucks enough dick maybe he will get promoted because he was a shite stain head coach already.

How many years did ole Tubbs stay at Ole Miss? Three or Four years? It still counts.

quote:

Cutcliffe is head coach at Duke - Sure why not?

Right, but why did he leave Ole Miss again? Was it because he was offered the Head Coaching gig at a more prestigious university? lol

Yeah, you have two coaches that are still head coaches. ONE, that you can count went on to prove your point. Cutcliffe is not a good example of what you're talking about.

So what? 1-0? LOL Yeah you're killing us.

Jackie Sherrill was 60 years old when he coached his last game at State. That's retirement age.

Most coaches don't ride off into the sunset. Have you seen Mack Brown's last few years? People get old and have less drive.

What's with this talk of your facilities being hands down better?

You think the Palmiero center is better than our IPF? That's a pretty big piece of the facilities argument.

I think the Seal Complex is our IPF now.

Do you have an indoor practice facility in the seal complex, if not this thing is just dandy

Not sure. I don't think the Palmeiro Center gets used very much.
