I can upvote your post. And fully understand Mullen having team unity at heart, and backing his player, in a possible special year at hand.

But, I have to think he suspects otherwise in his own mind and heart?

Ok you can think that & that's ok but it doesn't mean it's true. Mullen is just focused on A & M right now & that's the best way to be.

Correct me if im wrong but did Day get suspended for the EXACT same thing last year?

If it was his first time then yeah maybe on accident. But someone that does AGAIN. Serious how can you defend that?

But anyway don't get upset when people don't choose your team.

please describe all the great cultural and social assets of Starkville that exceed those in Oxford. I'll wait.

Both are doing well where they are.

They are basically the same.

What is Mullens SEC Record against top 25 teams ?
SEC West Teams ? SEC East Teams ?

He has been at MSU long enough to get a good sample.

I'll go with Freeze, but I don't think either one is a good coach.

I have always liked Mullen. He is usually competitive against the top SEC teams and has done well in bowl games.

Had Cam decided to go to MSU what a turn-around Mullen would have done early in his tenure.

Ole Miss would have stayed in the bidding war and made it a close call for the National Coach of The Year -Gene Chizik.

Freeze took Lambuth and won more than they ever had before. Freeze took Arkansas State and won more than they ever had.

Freeze took Ole Miss that was worse than they had ever been and the next two years went to bowl games and also beat a top 10 team. Yeah, he sucks.

...and let's not forget that when he got to Ole Miss, 30 players were in academic jeopardy. He made that priority number 1 and only 2 players of the 30 were ineligible.

Why do you think that Ole Miss is such a "better Job" than State? I don't see that being true except for Oxford being a neater town than Starkville. We actually have better stuff than them even though they are known for being all rich. Our stadium is a lot better than theirs since we expanded it.

I hate to hurt your feelings bud but most everybody considers ole miss a far better job than state. State is the worst job in the sec no doubt.

What type of better stuff do you have?

Freeze is doing it right. Remember, just 4 or 5 games ago nearly every state fan wanted Dan gone and wanted Hudseth. Well he beat big bro and now he's a god. He's the same shite coach he was before he won a few meaningless games.

Hugh Freeze is an American treasure.

Having said that I think Mullen seems like a good dude and Lhasa one of the tougher jobs in the SEC. I still roll with Freeze.

(I don't consider the fact that part of his tenure was at Arkansas State to be a meaningful clarification because his available talent matched that of his competition. It's not like he was bringing a roster of SEC players to bear against the rest of the conference.)

They were easily the most talented team in that conference.

Regardless that Rebman is the one who asked the question, I think it should be pointed out that other than the town of Oxford being better, State has every advantage as far as facilities go. That's not even debatable.

I would take Freeze. He is a better recruiter. I think Mullen is probably a slightly better x's and o's guy though.
