A&M wins the natty this year with Dak

No we don't, not with Spavital as our OC. In fact I would go so far as to predict that our offense would be just as bad because Spavital would be calling the same shitty plays no matter who the QB is. No QB can turn pure shite into gold, not even Tebow, Manziel, or Newton.

He couldn't beat A&M so how would he have beaten Memphis?

And to answer the OP, I'm not sure. Kelly has a much stronger arm and is more accurate with his deep ball.

Texas A&M beats Memphis arse. So would every other SEC team except OM. Maybe Vandy. Again, your coach would swap QBs right now. No doubt at all. Your players would be fired up with Dak and never play dead. Plus he'd lead them. That's the difference. And accuracy? That's questionable. Check out comp %. Get back to me after Auburn beats y'all. Y'all r excited after beating a team after they played Bama. Teams aren't the same the week after Bama. You caught A&M at the right time. Bet the house on Auburn beating y'all. The house.

If we started the season with him, sure.

Would I throw him in week 10 against Bama with no team chemistry? Of course not.

as the OP, my question was about having Dak "for 2015 as your QB", not throwing him in this week in a new offense. Duh.

Your title suggests otherwise.

Can I get a fricking time machine and take Dak prior to 1/9/12 ?

(Because Jarrett Lee needed some company on the bench, of course.)

I like how Harris is progressing, but Dak is excellent right now and has proven he can go on the road and win games.

This.

Sure hope Harris doesn't leave early. 2.5 more years of BH sure will be nice while we are able to bring along his replacement.

we're 3-4 at this point- what exactly could dak with 5 games left that i should trade for him?

oops, ok, good point. I meant for the entire 2015 season. Should have clarified title to be consistent with message. I have failed.

Absolutely. With the weapons he'd have around him, that offense would be amazing.

He's as good a runner as Dobbs, but an exponentially better passer.

The only reason I might not is that UT has a ton of talent coming back next year...Dobbs is a Jr and Dak is a Sr.

If I wasn't concerned about next year, I would absolutely take Dak.

Dak would do wonders for our 3rd or 4th and short package. Nobody respects Liggin's ability to throw the ball. Would be great to have someone a bit more accurate than him.

Ask yourself that when he beats pothead Kelley and Bucky in Vegas next month

Our offense and D is player head over heals better than it was at the first of the year.
