i did think it was lame Duke was still throwing passes earlier in the drive though.

Why? How are you suppose to give your back up game experience by holding back on the passing? BS

it is just a class issue. Either you are comfortable with just winning the game and don't want to embarrass the other team; or you only care about yourself/stats and want to give those players (who were probably promised TDs in recruiting) meaningless TDs.

I prefer taking knees/ run up the middle, but to each his own.

You should always score as many points as the defense will let you.

I suspect ACC will claim it as a win over past SEC champion. 1934, 1939, 1949

Barely a minute left in the game and up 30-7, Duke punches it in from the 1 for another TD.

frick taking mercy knees. Not trying to score int he fourth, even if you're up 70-0, breeds complacency.

Tulane should have asked Duke to allow for a running clock in the second half. If not for a running second-half clock, imagine how badly the game below would have gotten out of hand:

Kudos to A&M.

Les has more class. Ole Miss fans remember when LSU had the game easily in hand in Oxford and LSU ran the clock out inside the ten yard line when they could have just punched it in....
