You're taking this bizarrely personally, bro.

I'm guessing either you're related to Pollack, or he was your first?

Nah but I do enjoy calling you out on SOME of your more absurd statements.

Like I said, I'm nowhere near the first, or last, person to speculate about Pollack juicing. Reason being... It's not an absurd notion.

But have a good night, bud

Laremy Tunsil > Michael Oher.

I think Tunsil gave up like 1 sack over three seasons or some ridiculous stat

John Vaughn missed 5 fgs in a game. That alone eliminates him.

Are you an LSU fan? I understand your hatred for Vaughn.

But the football Gods made up for that one awful game in an otherwise solid career by repaying us and following up Vaughn with Wes Byrum the clutch God, Cody Parkey who is an NFL kicker, and the absolute GOAT Daniel Carlson AKA Legatron

Carlson may be the best college kicker I've seen. Just doesn't miss.

Pretty good list. I'd put Da'Rick Rodgers way over Matthews tho. Da'Rick was a frick up but he was amazing in college and would've been a pro-bowl level WR if he wasn't such a head case.

His physical style paired with Amari would be unstoppable.

Also, putting Berry back at FS instead of SS = smart man.

Jordan Matthews holds the records for most all-time receptions and receiving yards in a career in SEC history... so yeah.

262 receptions, 3759 yards, 24 TD
vs
143 receptions, 2340 yards, 12 TD

It's not even close.

Since 2000, going strictly by college, there's a firmly established top 5 of WRs from the SEC and it's Amari Cooper, Jordan Matthews, AJ Green, Josh Reed, and Julio Jones..... sorry but ODB doesn't come close to those guys for college

Stats aren't everything, especially yardage stats without context. Jalen Hurd would've been UT's all-time leading rusher had he played one more game before quitting and possibly if he'd quit later in the SC game rather than early on. He isn't close to being the best RB we've ever had and was only the third best on the team last year had but he got the ball a lot.

Wut? Beckham had one season with over 2 TDs. Matthews had 1400 more yards and twice as many TDs. Beckham is the weakest link on that WR list.

Not really arguing for Beckham but Matthews' college production had a lot to do with him being the only guy his team had. Had there been an RB or other WR on his team his production wouldn't be what it was.

That isn't to say Matthews wasn't great. He was. But his stats have a ton to do with his situation as well.

Doing it at Vanderbilt with their QBs and no help at all to take any attention away actually makes what he did more impressive IMO.

Matthews was double covered almost all the time his last 2 years. Even triple covered sometimes. And he still couldn't be stopped.

To some degree it makes it harder but Vanderbilt during that time had better players than for most of their history (they weren't the Vanderbilt most are used to and would've done even better in most other conferences). I never saw Matthews double or triple covered tho and although the QB he had wasn't the most talented he was a gamer who Franklin was very good at calling plays that stressed his strengths and got Matthews open.

Vanderbilt also had quite a few RS Seniors along the lines during that time frame. Where they really lacked was in the skills positions (minus Matthews) but they weren't a team full of scrubs.

Would of been better if you did a 2000 sec team 1 vs sec 2000 team 2.

Use one thread to draft the teams by rant consensus and one thread to debate

No Tebow or Harvin? These two had an enormous impact on the SEC and national stage. IMO, Tebow should be on there for career alone vs. one year.

Even if you just look at Heisman years:

Tebow (13 games) -
3286 passing yards with 32 TDs and 6 INTs
895 rushing yards with 23 TDs
Accounted for 321.6 yards per game

Newton (14 games)-
2854 passing yards with 30 TDs and 7 INTs
1473 rushing yards with 20 TDs
Accounted for 309.1 yards per game
