Women's golf still to be decided right?

Finished 7th at NCAA Championships.

Southern Cal won.

But Bama is having a lot of top 10, top 20 finishes in sports this year. Another great year for Bama Athletics that followed perhaps the best year in Bama Athletics winning 4 National Titles in one year.
Followed it up with 2 National Titles and a Top 3 finish in Gymnastics.

No, Alabama has several football titles (about 18) that are recognized by the NCAA, but claims only 15.

NCAA Recognized Football Titles.

Congratulations on the national title, very impressive. It almost seems like Alabama is elite in the respected sport or sucks horribly. On a side note, I expect your track program to progress into top-15 status. Your new coach is a hell of a recruiter.

Anyways, I have a question. Has golf always been big in the state of Alabama? I noticed your roster is comprised primarily of Alabama kids. That is quite an advantage to have that many elite golfers in your state. Just wondering what LSU can do to take the next step

lolno, NCAA doesn't recognize an official football champion nor sponsor a tournament or playoff to decide an official champ. I'm not taking away from the football titles though, since football is king, but there's a reason they're called MNC's

Just because the NCAA doesn't cosign with who won the championships doesn't mean they're mythical.
(I'm not referring to just BAMA here)

I wouldn't say Bama "sucks horribly" in sports it doesn't win national titles in.

Finished 3rd in the SEC in Men's Basketball. Made it to Supers in Softball and Baseball.

Bama's elite in football, golf, gymnastics and softball.

Pretty good in other sports.

Only sport they truly "suck" at is W Basketball. And they just hired a coach that led Purdue to the national championship game.

well, yeah, that's how it works. You want a fan bases' attention? Then don't suck. Alabama has always been a success driven Atheltic Dept. Softball and Gymnastics only ever got their top class facilities and sell-out crowds by becoming proven winners and contenders before hand.

Hold a lot of free camps and clinics for local kids, assuming the NCAA is OK with that. Not teenagers, but 7 and 8 year olds. A few exceptions notwithstanding, you have to pick up golf at an early age and dedicate a shite ton of time to it if you ever want to be great at it.

The golf win should bump Bama to #2 in the Capital One Cup

Win first and get your facilities later is a stupid approach that I hope Battle puts an end to. You are going to struggle to recruit with shitty facilities and you can't consistently win without good players.
