Will Bo even start? I mean Harris seemed far better last year, especially on plays where there wasn't a massive hole.

Harris was and is a great back, but Bo's performance the last 4 weeks was at another level. However, his health is an issue.

My guess is we'll play a lot of guys and use Bo in spurts early and as the battering ram late (like we did against Auburn and Florida).

This dude is completely forgotten somehow.

Not by us. He, Bo, Jacobs and Harris/Emmons will all find roles. My hope is that Jacobs/Harris/Harris/Emmons play well early and Bo comes late and punishes teams in the 4th.

But who knows how it will all work out.

For many years LSU has been 4 deep at RB ....
Last two seasons LSU has been top heavy...
Hope that will change soon....
But alabama has no issues at RB and has been very deep certainly since Saban has been there....next man up

There is never a shortage of great backs in Alabama-LSU games.

83 yards on 13 carries (6.38 YPC) against Auburn/Florida/Clemson.

So he combined for 83 yards in that late three game stretch as the third string back? Which of your backs didn't do good during that stretch? Hell, when Auburn is rolling even our third string backs can put up stats.

I know Kerryon hasn't put up a lot of stats against the power 5 teams. Dude was injured a ton. Still has more ability and potential than Jacobs.

You mean whenever you get to play junior high defenses? Because again real ones you don't do much rolling.

Per game Magellan. Including a game his leg broke halfway through.

It doesn't matter what the talent is once the offense is clicking, its game over. If Damian and Bo was softening up Auburn and Florida with their running, you'd think the next back would enjoy the spoils.

Just to think I thought you were a 15%er :smh:

Bo did enjoy the spoils of a tired defense against Auburn in the 4th, that is true.

Against Florida Bo had huge runs in the 3rd quarter and early in the 4th. We hadn't worn Florida down at all, we only had the ball for 25 minutes of the game vs 35 for them.

And, of course, everything that happened against Washington and Clemson was 100% him with almost no threat of a passing game.

His best role, though, is as a guy who plays in rotation for the first 3 quarters and then runs counter left/counter right/toss left/toss right in the 4th quarter against a tired defense. My hope is that is his role next season.

Kerryon doesn't even know what a passing game looks like. He also doesn't know what a weight room looks like but if you check his highlight film, he makes some freakish broken tackles look way too easy. He very well may become the most frustrating RB I've ever seen at Auburn just because the last offseasons he's been rehabbing instead of working out.

If Bo starts over Damien that would be a surprise. Damien's measurables probably aren't as great but he is just as good of a RB as Bo plus he is dependable...and I know every HC in a America loves a dependable RB.

Wouldn't surprise me at all. If Bo is healthy and in football shape, he will start.

Wouldn't hurt my feelings either way, though.

Honestly, I have no idea how they will do it. My guess is 3 guys get a lot of snaps and the game, rhythm, style, etc lend to who is getting them in which game. Assuming everyone is healthy Bo and D. Harris will certainly be 2 of those 3. My guess is Jacobs, Najee, Robinson and Emmons fight for the 3rd spot. I doubt they have a bigger rotation than 3, unless they tinker with Emmons/Najee/Bo at H-Back some to get 2 of them on the field at the same time.

Bo will definitely be the closer though. I think they figured out that formula late last season.

Agreed. There is no point unless the boosters are in for HC. Another thing I should add is that Damien might be a more natural fit for the read-option with Hurts. Sometimes all world measurables don't even get to show up on the stat sheet. Also, I think this is somewhat preposterous but I think Saban was saving Bo for the last of the year. Must be nice

Damien Harris is 100% welcome to transfer to LSU and be our feature back for 2018

Just so many talented RBs in this conference

I don't know how he didn't even make honorable mention but Devwah Whaley will finish the year as one of the top backs in the SEC.
