you think businesses are valued on revenue. No, valuation is based on earnings
And a rate of return on that value. Aggy is SEVERELY lacking in the rate of return department.

Why couldn't you afford to keep your defensive coordinator?

We have a low discount rate, so our future performance could still help out the IRR

We could afford to keep him, but we told him he wasn't worth what his ego was telling him.
Aggy will realize this in due time.

Ive seen every aggie poster here, and i mean every aggie poster talk about how rich "yall" are. Thus the STTDB yall are receiving . We know a&m is a big school with lots of money, it would be really sad if yall didnt. We just know our program does alot better with less.

Chavis didn't leave because of money.

Apparently you missed where our athletic department is sending money to the school to pay for education to keep it afloat.
Education comes first at Auburn

Saving like 25% on your DC salary isn't chump change, seems like a cost cutting move to me. Kudos to yall for paring down staff costs to keep the school afloat

There was another thread on this, but I dont think they have their numbers correct. Auburn had over 80 million in football revenue during this time
And has operated in the red for 2 years straight?
Have to keep certain academic programs going , that takes money.

How hard is it for you to keep all of your alters in order?
Posted on 8/27/15 at 4:06 pm to MightyYat
I don't have an alter. If you think I do you should definitely contact the mods

How much are y'all keeping in profit? What's the point of high revenue if you're also top in expenses?
well, LSU's expenses are on the books so they appear high. much of y'all's expenses are "off the books" and are not officially happening. you know, player cars, etc

i love this play, gets me everytime. Was it we couldnt afford to keep him or was it the only way he'd be interested in A&M is if they gave him enough money to retire in 3 years?
