What are you arguing for? I don't care about the subject at all, I think that Austin and Los Angeles are much different than the other cities listed based on percentage of stadium capacity with over 80,000 seats. It's an opinion.

So... an Aggie tells one lie after another, all refuted by Longhorn facts, and the Longhorn's the liar?

You need to stop huffing glue.

Just googled.

You have three Hampton Inns. The one downtown is $129, the other two are $89

The Tuscaloosa Hampton Inn at University is $109, the other is $99

--

Marriott Courtyard Austin - $108

Marriott Courtyard Tuscaloosa - $102

---

Sheraton Austin - $99
Sheraton Tuscaloosa - $109

---

I could go on.

Apparently, Austin is such a destination tourist town with so many festivals and so few hotels that their prices are truly astronomical. I mean, they're comparable to a factory/college town in West Alabama. Wow.

Are you retarded? Try that comparison when South by Southwest and the Formula 1 race is in Austin.

Austin is far closer to Columbus than it is to Los Angeles. If you don't see that, you're blind.

Alabama plays in Tuscaloosa while South by Southwest is in Tuscaloosa? While an F1 race is in Tuscaloosa?

Que?

I'm actually an expert on the Austin hotel market, Austin is about to have a huge surplus and many hotels are already predicting bankruptcy with occupancy rates expected to drop into the 40's for the next 4-5 years

It's a fact

I'm saying we're both in the offseason right now and they're about the same.

When we're both in high demand, I bet they are too. In fact, I bet ours are more expensive. They are generally unavailable anyways. It's not an excuse.

New Tuscaloosa Embassy Suites opens, immediately sells out for football season 6 months in advance

I would guess that a lot of alumni and fans live in Austin might not need a hotel. It's a very large city with lots of people.

I think our drop is mainly due to a poor home schedule this year. We played crap teams like Vanderbilt, Texas A&M, and LSU at home. Our big games such as Florida and Alabama were on the road.

No, it was because we took out 7 rows in the SEZ for suites. The largest attended game at OM is 62,300 with a capacity of 60,500. Our capacity this year is 58,800 so to average almost 61K is pretty impressive by our runt standards

Nope

I'm an expert and hired consultant for the Austin hotel market

The JW and Fairmont are adding 2,000 rooms to a downtown area that was already only averaging 74% which is decent. Dell pushed the city into the tax incentives but many hotels will go belly up because of it

Sorry bub, I get paid more in one hour than you make in 2 weeks to help hotels solve their problems

FSU has some but not as much as people think. Nole fans are dumbarses but they pretty much keep their dumbarse covered by FSU gear.

Will have to disagree. FSU is a very fickle fanbase. One loss and the seats begin to empty. Plus, playing in the ACC does not help. They rotate with Miami and UF on the home schedule so you really only get one matchup worth a damn every year unless someone in the ACC is doing well (Clemson this year) but that was away.
