An interesting note though is that Texas, UCLA, and USC are in cities with horrendous infrastructure and very high COL compared to some of the other cities

As a bonus round the high cost of re-estate makes it hard for them to keep up in the facilities race as well. They have to build up and not out, which means it costs three times as much.

I see a big difference when the entire city of Columbus revolves around the Ohio State football program while there are countless other things to do in Austin or Los Angeles..sooo..yeah.

Columbus has an NHL and MLS team.

Austin has no professional teams.

Try again.

A&M only dropped because the stadium was smaller.

I forgot, sports are all that matter in the world, nevermind, carry on.

A&M averaged 100.9% of its stadium's listed capacity over the course of the season. Only 6 other programs averaged over a sellout crowd (Oklahoma, Michigan, Ohio State, Florida, Nebraska, and Clemson). Georgia, Auburn, and Notre Dame averaged right at 100%

Before you even try to bring up certain programs, if you have a stadium smaller than 60,000, you shouldn't even be included in this discussion.

Arkansas averaged 86.6%. That's even worse than Texas (89.9%)

The FAIL is strong with this one.

You're seriously making excuses for the "classiest and best fans in America" of "The Flagship of the state" dropping attendance for the 3rd straight year?

Point being, LA and Austin don't have sports on their minds the way those other cities do.

Yet those cities are constantly being brought up by the parade of idiots as "best college towns"

In what way is Austin remotely similar to Los Angeles? Name something fun to do in Austin that you can't do in Columbus, Ohio. Hang out with the homeless? Watch some bats under a bridge? There is a music festival twice a year, I guess.

Are you trying to say Columbus is really just a sports-centric city? More so than LA?

Again I ask, have you ever been to Columbus? or LA?

Lol I don't care enough to 'make excuses' as you do eloquently put it. I was giving an argument for why people in LA or Austin don't go to games the way other cities do. Since you wanted to make it about those fan bases brig trash compared to your Scientology thing you have going on down in College Station

Does Columbus have a lake?

Does Columbus have food carts?

Is Columbus weird?
