Christianity and God are better than Bammerdom and da Bahr.

Dont think many of us can get too pointed with the drunk comments. Cheating - hell they all cheated he was just better at it. Don't know anything about the womanizing thing. He was a great coach and apparently had a positive impact on many people's lives. When people start lifting someone above mortal status, it ends up tarnishing the accomplishments. He was human like the rest of us.

But I will not tolerate anymore neglect of Eddie Robinson

My grandmother went to Alabama and knew Bryants wife, Mary Harmon well. He was part of an age of great coaches that included Bobby Dodd, General Neyland, Bud Wilkinson, Johnny Vaught, and others.

Times were different then. How do you compare the other coach with a statue at Bryant Denney to Bryant?

I know most of the tards will flame and make jokes at Bryant's expense, but the Kent Waldrep story is very touching. Coach Bryant did more for him than his own school was willing to do. In fact, his son would become the first recipient of the Bryant Scholarship that did not have a father that played for Bryant at Alabama. That was in 2006.

There can be but one original. I don't think the other Coach is trying to replace the original, as he's writing his own history. Some people will compare and contrast the two. For me personally, I'm just honored to be able say that they Coached my home state team, and Coached the team well.
You can't argue the success, or history, and thankfully we have both

I felt compelled to use the banghead emote icon because everytime someone initiates a thread like this it brings all the idiots out of the wood work - pro and con.

If something had happened like Coach Bryants birthday or the anniversary of winning a title I would understand. However, yours seems to be only to spark flames. So for the next three days we get to here the Aubs and the Rantards talk about Coach Bryant being a drunk, etc.

Of course you don't need to tell me anything. However, based on your previous bird emoticon and now your "I don't need to tell you anything" remark leaves me (and probably others on here) to believe you lack maturity enough to be taken serious in other conversations.

Lighten-up.
