The only people who will find UF fans unreasonable are the average person who buys into the "SEC is down because everyone is impatient and keeps firing coaches" narrative. Data shows that great coaches by and large reveal themselves to be great by year two or three. If you are a marquee program, you have to have the stones to cut bait and reload when it becomes clear that someone isn't the guy.

Florida never wins titles with Urban Meyer if they give Ron Zook more time. The Saban dynasty doesn't get off the ground if Mike Shula is given a decade to build his program. Dabo Swinney is the exception to the rule.

Team just seems undisciplined and doesn't play to its full potential...and most of that is in the coach. Just my two cents...

Odd man. Seems to win a lot but not enough for Florida. Honestly have no idea wtf kinda freak curse has been holding the offense back, but thats not really Jim specific.

End result, luckiest shark fricker alive.

The jury is still out on the shark fricked until he gets a q.b for his system. One thing is evident though and that he's no Urban Meyer or Steve Spurrier.

Coming into this year, I thought he was potentially the 2nd best coach in the SEC. Although, that isn't really saying much today. If you guys had Will Grier still, this isn't even a discussion though. He deserves more time IMO.

I thought he'd be better by now. I thought it was a good hire and he did well to win (even though it was down) the East his first two years. Florida's continued struggles on offense at this point is surprising though, and I can't fault any Florida fan who wants him gone. There's just no excuse for the offense he puts out there, and he's lucky he's not 1-5 this year thanks to Kentucky and Tennessee gift-wrapping those games.

his players really play hard, and manage to win games.

he's got to be able to recruit. he needs to be bringing in top 12 classes regularly with some top 5's in the mix. otherwise, florida will remain 2d tier.

Outside of the shark fricking stuff, he seems to have done pretty well.

I do think the Gators can do better, however.

Will Grier leaving hurt. I agrer with Deepeig that if Will was still there they are likely contending. He has has UGAs number but no way he is beating them this year. UF is decimated roster wise. Just too many starters out.

But Mac has been pretty unlucky on the QB front which is not a good spot to be unlucky at.

Doesn't take a genius to win at UF. Recruit well(All but Mac have in my lifetime) and use Playmakers. This state produces insane talent, just need a spread coach to use it honestly.

Don't rely on the rant

don't see him being good enough to beat good teams..

I think you are right. He does not seem too engaging or have a sense of urgency about things.

Grier says Mac let him go. Can't say it wasnt his fault. Muschamp left him an insane Qb. His arrogance may be the reason that Qb left

Mediocre coach at best. That is actually being generous. You probably won't fire him but he needs to go. He looked alright with a good quarterback before the suspension but every coach looks good with an elite quarterback. Chizik won a national title with one. You guys are fricked.

And that is why he has all the heat on him. No offense.

Not really. Looking at his stats from Bama tells me he sucks.
