Hey look the idiot is back. Urban basically still works for Florida because we own Ohio State.

Of course we have some fans that want to get rid of him...for what reason I have no idea.

They don't remember Templeton.

That's just it. I don't want someone who has to be bought away from their dream school. IF that makes any sense.

Hashtags, starkvegas, uniforms, and his general attitude of arrogance/goobery is why plenty of fans wouldn't care to lose him.

He's great at raising funds. He's made a great hire at WBB and a terrible one with MBB and that's about it. All he had to do with Holland is hand him the contract.

Florida sees him for what he is and he'd probably do a good job playing as a puppet while Foley still pulled the strings.

His Ray hire was bad, he corrected it with an amazing hire in Howland.

Let's not act like Scott went out and found Howland. Adidas dropped him off at the front door. All SS had to do was hand him the papers.

It does; if you didn't know Scott. He will always care about State. But, if he were to take the Florida job, it would be heart and soul into the University of Florida. If he goes, I wish him the best. If he stays. I am more than OK with that. He has done well at State because he knew his way around. Would he be overwhelmed by the enormity of UF and its mega budget? Not a clue.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that you're 20 years old. Do you remember the general direction of MSU sports prior to 2010? Scott Stricklin is the greatest thing that's ever happened to our athletic department. And he just happens to be a loyal MSU fan and graduate.

Foley is not going to be pulling the strings, his role is being overblown. He's taking an emeritus position, just like retiring school presidents. Retire, but still come into advise and fundraise when asked.

Rick Ray was a bad hire but it kinda looks like the Croom hire. He was hired to get the program clean.

Scott has been great but let's not give him all the credit for Byrne's work.

75 million for #45 Mississippi State
115 million for #14 Kentucky (where he worked before State job)
147 million for #6 Florida

So he at least has experience at a school in between, the bigger question is buying power in respective jobs.

If earning 1 million in Mississippi dollars > 2 million in Florida dollars then he stays, even if the number appears smaller to the rest of us.
