We may never know what he gets, but the fact that the video was put on the internet may add credence to his emotional distress claim.

If it is carried to trial, just saying he was emotionally distressed isn't enough. A physical manifestation of the effects of the emotional distress must be proven.

"It hurt my feelings when the meanies on the internet made fun of me" isn't going to cut it.

"I lost hair, weight, and spent all day vomiting" is some good shite though..

and the crime was sexual in nature. its a bit different than a normal case because the guy was basically raped. also why the teabagger should carry the sex offender tag

He might get his tuition back, and maybe he'll get money for the cost of mental counseling. Those might add a few thousand...

See... this doesn't make me think of psychology. It makes me think of special education.

Key word, champ. Very, very, very few IIED style cases are profitable.

Yep im sure no plaintiff lawyer wanted this case at all. Hell ive settled employment cases with no proof of phys injury. To think all he will get is 10k shows you have no idea about our legal system (right or wrong).

wouldnt be a bad publicity move. you would get your business posted all over the internet, and on most all of the TD boards.

I think the LSU fan and his atty are as bad as the perp.

The only reason you file suit to include the place of business is collectibility. In this case the perp is probably not collectable so the atty and defendant decided to go after Krysal too and let the judge or jury sort it out.

I have never filed suit against anyone in my life and i think the LSU fan should only file suit against the perp. Including krystal makes me think the LSU fan is a p---y. It goes without saying his lawyer is a scum bag but that is normal.
