I'm proud of the boy. Clearly, he put up video game numbers against an elite defense.

Fournette is the best RB I've seen since AP. Chubb would be sitting on the bench at LSU.

Chubb wasn't sitting on the bench at UGA even when they had Todd Gurley available. Basically, everyone just goes overboard when you have crazy Ht-Wt- speed numbers. Chubb actually has the ideal body type to be a RB. It makes him VERY hard to tackle while still allowing him to be quite agile and gain top speed quickly- by far the best attributes a RB can have. He might not have had a TD yesterday, but the only reason Lambert was able to waltz into the end zone is because the entire defense followed Chubb the other way.

chubb is amazing and is definitely one of the most elite backs in the nation. right now, he can make a case that he's as good as anybody.

fournette is potentially a once in a decade kind of player. if you watch him play, you see why. it's pretty obvious to anyone who doesn't have a bias. and the reason why he's compared to peterson is because their running styles are very similar. the comparison is more about style than production.

I think Chubb has an edge at the moment, when it comes to balance and vision. LF has great size and looks crazy fast when he breaks loose. Both great backs with different strengths.

I love this weekly thread. It never fails to go 10 pages and we always get to hear how LF is a once in a generation player, he just hasn't proven it yet because teams are stacking 12 and 13 in the box while UGA's vaunted passing offense keeps defenses honest

Yep and I think he keeps that edge all season.

Both are great and different in their own ways.

I believe both have better vision and agility over Henry.

Let's all agree on this:

If you're a DB and one of them is running directly at you and you need to make the tackle... You want it to be Chubb instead of Fournette

Lemme guess, A&M's running back is a true sleeper and is going to have a better NFL career than both Chubb and Fournette right? fricking dumbass

I dunno, CHubb has shown just as much of the ability to run people over as LF7.

Look, I love LF7, but Chubb continues to put up the numbers.

Let me put it this way, if both were on my team, both would have to play...

Chubb does have the advantage of an actual passing game and a coach that doesn't keep sending him into stacked 9 and 10 man fronts.

Is this a joke or are you not very smart?

in a sense, he is validating the potential. people who cover football for a living see no reason to say otherwise. in fact, fournette continues to substantiate the idea.

let me put it this way, multiple analysts are saying that fournette is the best college football player, regardless of position after watching him play. i haven't heard that about chubb.

LF is probably gonna be the better NFL back because of his size.

Chubb is who I would take if I had to have a guy for next week.

Funny, I haven't seen any credible analysts say that LF is the best player in football regardless of position. Got any links so I can read up on that?

Can you imagine the 1-2 punch of these two if they were on the same team?

Would be better than the 1 2 punch of Mark Ingram and Trent Richardson in 2010

Iv'e heard several sports commentators say that. Two of them said it during the game last night. Watch the replay.
