I thought they got rid of the BCS because LSU snuck in with two losses in '07 and because two SEC teams played in the NCG in '11? Combination of those two
No, the rest of the football world were tired of the SEC (winning 7 of the last 8) and mostly Bama (with 3) winning the BCS national championships.

? I mean you have to fill it out with one-loss power five teams by logic.

Well L6u fans have talked themselves into believing that he games with miles don't count anymore and only the Coach Moeaux games should be judged.

But they played Bama closer than anyone else, well;

They couldn't score on Bama, at home at night, gameday, with Bama giving them 2 TOs on their side of the 50. Bama played about as bad as they can on offense, played a very conservative game. If played again on a neutral site Bama is a 18+point favorite and would win by more.

They're just homers

Y'all wanted to get rid of the BCS because Bama got a "mulligan" in '11 and kicked as in the BSCNC.

So now we have a fricking playoff that EVERY conference wanted and because Bama has made it into the 4 team playoff every fricking year with a chance to repeat now y'all want to bitch and want to go back to the BCS format? WTF is it going to take to please you people?

Lol at all the homerific bitching up in here. The committee has it pretty right based on the teams resumes. The most important consideration is your resume. Even though three teams in the top six lost last week, they still have better resumes than those ranked behind them. They have the top six ranked in the right order too. And the rest of the rankings look about right too.

umm, Alabama dropped from 2 to 3 after a November loss in 2011 and from 1 to 4 after a November loss in 2012, and in neither case did 3 other top 4 teams lose the same weekend.

Jokes on you

At least it's setting up for Bama to take care of the top 2 B10 teams during bowl season. Can someone else please not embarrass the SEC in the bowl matchup?

Sorry, LSU's 3 losses count. No matter how you slice it up, LSU has lost to every decent defense they have played.

Looks like they're sending a message.

Assuming they beat Michigan, Ohio State is no worse than the 2 seed, won't matter if they don't win the Big 10.

They just told Louisville they better start praying Michigan wins the Big 10. If Ohio State beats Michigan it puts the Big 10 champion in play and basically eliminates them unless Clemson loses again.

I knew Alabama fans were stupid but did you even fricking read my post?
I'm almost 100% sure that I didn't complain about Bama being at the top.
They would be at the top in the BCS anyways, idiot.

Stop trying to make everything about Bama. We know they are good.

their best win is against #17 FSU. They have no other quality wins. They shouldn't get the nod over the other 1 loss teams.

Not at this point. If LSU wins out (as they should) and some of the teams ahead of them lose, they could very end up in the top 10 (after the conference CGs) and the Sugar Bowl.

Michigan has the same W/L record as Louisville, but has a much better resume. Micigan beat Colorado, Wisconsin and Penn St. Louisville only has one win against a ranked opponent (FSU). No way Louisville should be ranked in front of any of the teams that are ranked in front of them.

There could still be some more upsets that could shake things up. For example, USC could win the PAC12. Or Micigan could beat Ohio State and then lose to Wisconsin in the B1G CG. Houston could upset Louisville.

I don't see OSU getting out if PSU wins out.
Yes OSU is probably the better team and has the stronger resume but Penn State will have:

1. B1G championship
2. A win over a probable top 10 Wisconsin while OSU will be idle, and:
3. A head to head win over Ohio state.

if I was a PSU fan I'd raise hell if they put OSU over us.
