I don't see OSU getting out if PSU wins out.
Yes OSU is probably the better team and has the stronger resume but Penn State will have:

1. B1G championship
2. A win over a probable top 10 Wisconsin while OSU will be idle, and:
3. A head to head win over Ohio state.

if I was a PSU fan I'd raise hell if they put OSU over us.

No doubt PSU fans would be pissed, but OSU would have only one loss compared to PSU's two losses and would have a better resume, including beating Oklahoma, Wisconsin and Michigan (who routed PSU), which also enabled PSU to get into the CG instead of Michigan.

Unless you're Michigan, just lose and stay in same spot

20. Boise State
21. Western Michigan

So WMU could go 13-0 and get left out of the G5 NY6 bowl for Boise who has a loss. Damn

I don't know why everyone is complaining. It seems fine

Just let Oklahoma complain like they are good or something

These teams will weed themselves out. LSU people are complaining. Hahaha

The playoffs seem simple. Bama. ACC champ probably Clemson. Big ten champ if mich or Wisconsin. And then it's between Washington, Ohio state, Louisville depending on these next two weeks

The rest of these three loss teams just worry about your next coach or whatever

Winning your conerence is an important consideration, but it's not as important as many people seem to think. It's more of a tiebreaker factor for teams with resumes that are very comparable. If Ohio State wins out, they'll have 1 loss and a substantially better resume than 2-loss Penn State and 2-loss Wisconsin. It's primarily about determining who the four best (most worthy) teams are for the playoffs, and secondarily the rest of the top 25. And that's how it should be. In some years one or two conferences might have a couple of teams that are better than champs of other conferences. Winning your conference championship is not necessarily that big of a factor in determining the four best teams. Heck, the top two teams could even be in the same conference division.

If Bama, Ohio State and Clemson win out, they'll be in and should be. Then, if Penn State or Wisconsin wins out, that 2-loss B1G champ may or may not get in ahead of a 1-loss Washington PAC12 champ or 1-loss Louisville. In that scenario, Washington would probably be in.

I honestly believe that LSU could beat 10 through 14. But they don't deserve to be ranked that high yet.

You have 3 losses

Not only do they have 3 losses, their best "win" was a loss at home where they scored 0 points.

If played again on a neutral site Bama is a 18+point favorite and would win by more.

No snow flake you got no running game and a QB that can't pass in a big game. Your offense is not that good. Your defense is good but you are not beating this LSU team by 18 points. You can't score that many. As usual LSU does not have a QB so they can't score. Your OC played conservative cause he knew he could not score much and was scared the defense would score for LSU.

Extremely unlikely. Boise State, despite being ranked higher, is *not* the leader in the Mountain West thanks to a loss vs Wyoming. Should the Cowboys win out, that means Boise won't be eligible to play in the New Year's 6. Western Michigan still controls their destiny in that regard, whereas Boise needs help.

Using your logic that would give LSU 2 losses smart guy. Since you stated we had a win against Bama.

Playoff system will work its way out. Likely Bama, Ohio State, Clemson and the 4th gets kinda murky.
