How come that on any non Oxford football weekend, the Jackson Junior League is cruisin' Magazine St. New Orleans in their 10 year old silver BMW's with the blue/red decal on the opaque tarnished rear window-- in the heart of awful Louisiana without a Winn Dixie party tray nor plastic chandelier in sight?

Frat guys are douches, and when a girl says she was in a sorority, run. She's got crabs.

In the next 20 years there will be a major cultural swing back away from people wearing shorts and blue jeans to formal work and social functions. And we will laugh at the "grunge" phase of kids acting like billionaire software tycoons wearing flipflops to work and shaving once a month.

It's not cool. And it's not even a creative form of expression. It's laziness and bad manners. Dressing appropriately in public is classic. And it never goes out of style.

Redneck white trash is when you look at someone and you can't tell whether they're going fishing, or to the office.

The problem with the Ole Miss old money crowd right here. You still can't get away from the false believe that appearance outweighs substance and character.

Put an a-hole in a suit and guess what? He's still an a-hole.

I pretty much agree with all of this.

I'm fine with a sundress, but a formal gown and pearls is weird too.

To me, everybody wearing the same player's jersey to a game is rather weird. I'd much prefer sports coats and sundresses.

Caption should read:

"Sorry darling, but you're gonna need to do better if you want to join the "White Girl Wednesday" crew."

Ole Miss is trying to put out an image of a small, wealthy private school.

Truth is, Ole Miss is a public school at the very bottom of the SEC academically, financially. Your endowment is small because your alumni base isn't very big or wealthy for that matter.

Yep. The over compensation stems from this.
