Idiots dressed for church at a football game.

Bow ties are fricking gay, not classy.

Chances are - you're 20 years old, drunk, outside and attending a football game. It just doesn't scream coat and tie to me.

Good for Ole Miss for dressing up. Stuff the slobs.

You mean like 11 of the fanbases in this conference do

Dressing nice is soft

So nobody in the picture that OP posted is gay, or 99% of our fanbase as anybody that actually dresses up for our games usually just wears a tie.

In the next 20 years there will be a major cultural swing back away from people wearing shorts and blue jeans to formal work and social functions. And we will laugh at the "grunge" phase of kids acting like billionaire software tycoons wearing flipflops to work and shaving once a month. It's not cool. And it's not even a creative form of expression. It's laziness and bad manners. Dressing appropriately in public is classic. And it never goes out of style.

I always wondered where Mitch Albom got his hair cut. Oxford

...and the posters complaining the most are "secuniversity," who's probably never attended one, an Ohio State fan who thinks appropriate game attire is a red and silver jersey with somebody else's name on it, a supposed LSU fan from New York City (cue the salsa commercial), and V&S who hates everybody and everything anyway. Cool.

Those baws just look like they out for a fun time. Not a lynch party

That is how 90% of the OSU fans were dressed for the Sugar Bowl. I have never seen that many grown men wear team jerseys to a college football game.

I usually wear an Ohio State polo and khaki pants/shorts depending on the weather. I'm not poor and I was raised right, but assume away.
That doesn't change the fact that the fans in that picture are dressed like idiots for a football game.

Do you want to have the debate over whether Ohio State or Alabama has more trashy fans? I wouldn't if I were you.

How did you get that was what I wanted to do from my post? I simply commented on the huge number of adult males that wore team jerseys to the Sugar Bowl. 90 was an exaggeration but damn it was more than 50%.
I just found it weird. Much more weird than how pledges dress for games.

I saw Alabama and naturally assumed. My bad.
*ETA
But I disagree. Wearing a suit to a college event is weird.
