Sounds like the appropriate attire for a damn football game.

When that guy goes fishing he won't touch the fish.

What's the correct fashion for a football game?

Whatever the heck you want to wear, provided it doesn't get in the face of someone else around you.

"I'm ready to feast on frat boy blood".
Or a football game.

I don't get the dislike for men wearing a jersey to a game. It's meant to be fun, so what's the problem? I know many agree with you, but it just seems like you're trying to be elitist. I've never even owned one myself, but that's just because it's not my thing.
I really don't care how people dress for a game, but dressing up seems as out of place as wearing shorts to the office. Isn't that why pledges are forced to do it?
Oh yea... sundresses are awesome, but they're not dressy attire.

Wow a lot of men here taking exception to how other men dress. This isn't the fricking off-season

I see the Joan Rivers Fashion Police are alive and well....but never dreamed they are SEC folks.
Wear what you want. I generally wear something that identifies me as a proud Rebel fan be it a button or a T-shirt.
Dress snobbery has no place at a ball game. I would think the most important issue is the GAME not the attire of the attendees, however, at 52-3 I can see where some of you began to get a little stir crazy and critical.
Some of you are so insecure if you have to castigate college game attire. Your comments scream somewhat envious and prejudiced at the same time. If the UM coeds want to wear minks and tiaras....what's to you?

My problem isn't with what they're wearing, my problem is with Ole Miss' complete blind spot and ignorance...or unwillingness to accept reality. That was my point.
Ole Miss is trying to put out an image of a small, wealthy private school.
Truth is, Ole Miss is a public school at the very bottom of the SEC academically, financially. Your endowment is small because your alumni base isn't very big or wealthy for that matter.
And no, your campus isn't any nicer than your average southern public university...here's a secret...everyone has red brick Greek revivals with large oaks on their campus.
It's like when I was visiting my grandmother and she thought she was bragging when she said her town had "the nicest coffee shop anywhere." It was a Starbucks, I wasn't about to burst her bubble.
Ole Miss is the guy that brags he has the nicest manicured quarter-acre lawn in the trailer park with plastic fountains and all. Dude, you still live in a trailer park.
Wearing Patagonia and Vineyard Vines and eating grocery store fried chicken on fine China doesn't make you not what you actually are...academically, financially inferior to most of your peers.
Moral of the story:
HAVE SOME GD AWARENESS.

So I get it....you are the omniscient God appointed judge and jury of Ole Miss fans?
We don't have a blind spot....you do! How many Ole Miss fans do you know personally? Of those, who is so self-absorbed that YOU possess the God given judgment to declare that ALL Ole Miss people possess delusions of grandeur?
never MIND HOW MANY TIMES EVERY YEAR that publications across the country have ranked the campus one of the most beautiful in the country.
Yes, most of the southern universities have magnolias and Corinthian columns and mint juleps at sunset on the veranda, but could it be someone ELSE in the universe finds Oxford and Ole Miss and ITS PEOPLE charming and genuine?
Having lived in a number of places in my lifetime from Florida, Tennessee, Illinois, and Mississippi, I have found that every place has its plastic snobs and those who deem themselves superior to others.
SO WHAT? Some of us know who we are and what we stand for and we are damn good southern people. We are not defined by pretension.
I would venture to guess you have your Patagonia and Vineyard Vines and other labels in your area.
Human nature is human nature.
What you fail to see is that in spite of our shortcomings whatever they may be, they are not peculiar to this area. Most of us are aware of the shortcomings of Mississippi, but we get up every day and try to make it a better world anyway.
Fakes and self absorbed jack asses live in every area a of the country BUT so do some damn fine beautiful people. I am glad I know many of the latter, and I wouldn't live anywhere else!
You seem to have a problem with your own self-image to be so worried and presumptuous of something you frankly don't know much of a damn thing about.
I won't argue the academics or finances of the state of Mississippi because my daddy taught me to never get in a battle of wits with an unarmed person.
