Jackson should be last because it is the worst.

Never been to Jackson, Little Rock, or Jefferson City, but Montgomery is pretty bad.

They've made some progress over by the Carmike Cinemas and AUM with the development, but the rest of their areas are riddled with gang violence. Alley Bar is cool.

Man that sucks. That place used to be alright. Last time I went there was in 2012.

Damn, so much for Montgomery revitalizing their downtown. Not even a decent entertainment district.

This is where I point out the capitol of Kentucky is Frankfort....

And Frankfort obviously won't hold a candle to some major cities, but I always liked visiting the Capitol building. It really is a work of art.

Fine. I'll feed the trolls.

Because I'm interested in getting some opinions on the topic. I've been to more of the cities than anyone else in this thread, so I think I was pretty well qualified (other than the Lexington F up).

I like to do road trips and having some good insight on places to go and/or avoid on the way.

It's also the doldrums of college athletics.

OK. Fine. But your list of places you want ranked only has two places you haven't been.

Wouldn't logic tell you that your next road trips should include those two cities? Sometimes I keep things too simple. I'll admit that. This is probably way more complicated than I'm able to see.

What is your definition of "bad?" I've never been to Jackson except to drive through on the interstate, so I cannot intelligently comment on it.

Jefferson City is a nice place, and a great place to raise a family has good schools, etc....In other words, it's not a shitehole. If you're basing it on a bunch of nightlife/social stuff, there's not much going on.

Been to all. There are some very big differences in size/scope of each of the cities.

Jeff City and Frankfort are so much smaller and different in their nature that it isn't really a fair comparison to a big city like atlanta.

Jefferson City is a pretty nice little town. It's obviously not as hopping as a city would be, but that isn't really the goal of a smaller town. Beautiful scenery, and pretty low crime rate too.

As far as rankings, Little Rock is too high, Jeff City is sure as shite not last. Little Rock is a crime ridden shite hole.

Jackson sucks. Montgomery sucks too.

Austin
Nashville
Atlanta
Tallahassee
Columbia
Jefferson City
Frankfort
Baton Rouge
Montgomery
Little Rock
Jackson

Nashville needs to be #1. Austin #2. Baton Rouge needs to be after Columbia.
