Do you guys think Pearl can catch Barbee? It's gonna be close.

Tony Barbee, first two years: 26-36

Bruce pearl, first 1.75 years: 24-33

...and his best player just quit the team.

so...can Pearl catch him? Personally, I think he can.

Please, explain to me what this has to do with education. The numbers are what they are.

pretty confident I'm much more educated than you tbh.

The man gets paid top 3-4 in the conference. This is a legitimate discussion.

If you want to forget that he started with nothing and we've had the worst luck with injuries and anything else that can go wrong this year, then sure, it's a legitimate discussion.

the spin crew is here.

look, the question posed by the op is very simple: yes or no, will Pearl have a worse record than Tony Barbee in his first 2 years?

It's pretty funny that this thread was made after the 10 page thread saying how great a job AJ did this year at bama when he has the exact same record Grant had last year thru 23 games.

Probably. But he'll still be a better coach than we have ever had.

Grant had one win against a ranked opponent in five years.

Johnson has four this season.

Probably worse, but it's irrelevant given the circumstances.

What does that have to do with the parameters set forth in the OP?

Or are you claiming he's as dumb as he looks looking at nothing but wins and losses?

Actually it isn't. Only mentally incapacitated people aren't capable of looking at all the facts.
