Pearl has been a disappointment, even with crap circumstances.

Now his best player is leaving early. Spin it all you want. Not good for Auburn.

Not really. Don't really think it's an Alabama fans place to make that call. The season has been a disappointment for sure, but it's not like we don't have talent coming in. Canty was only here for one more year anyway. Not as huge a loss as you think it is.

There's not a coach in America that could come into a situation like Auburn and win with amount of roster hits they have had in only year 2 of a major rebuild.

Imagine a top 5 team losing 3 major contributors and having multiple suspensions. They may have enough depth to survive it, but will still struggle.

Pearl has 3 top players out. 2 other players suspended multiple games. Other players (Tyler Harris, New Williams) playing hurt.
Behind that, two freshman and walk-ons. If you watch and understand the game, you know why this team has struggled the way it has.

You clearly are, John Mark, if you can't comprehend the circumstances.

thing is, this thread has nothing to do with circumstances. maybe it's you who struggles with reading comprehension.

simple question: yes or no?

No.
Too bad your double digit IQ isn't advanced enough to look beyond numbers.

Let me put it this way: If next year at this time, in Coach Johnson's second year he's sitting at 9-14 overall and 3-8 in the SEC, I will be surprised and disappointed.

I would've been disappointed too if we had everyone, but expectations change with the situation.

humor me please, what are the "numbers" missing here? is auburn actually in great shape? is that what you're arguing? lmao

on what planet is a coaches record not a meaningful stat? he's literally doing just as bad as Tony Barbee. that's what the numbers literally say.

Not really. It's hard to get mad at those less fortunate than you.
It seems like you may be a little 'touched' so I will lay off of you.
And can any Auburn grad really be 'mad AF' over basketball? I think not.

So Tuberville was a better coach than Saban after his first year at Bama? That's what the numbers literally said.

Look at the recruiting, look at the injuries, look at the likely best player who hasn't played a second this year. Again, if all you see are wins and losses, then you either aren't very bright or don't know very much.
Maybe you can enlighten us to your particular affliction.
